Back in February 2026 my husband was told by a guy there was dog that was needing rehomed. My husband brought him home and he truly is a good boy. He loves my kids and he doesn't mess with our cat. Unfortunately, with our busy schedules we can't take him anywhere, cooper needs to be with someone who can take him out into the woods or field to allow him too explore (where he was before, when he was picked up). Cooper always is on the hunt for something and we don't have the space for it as we live in town. He has to be on a leash or he will run off, we rent our home so we cannot put a fence up to keep him in the yard. We have talked about putting him up for adoption several times and backed out of it but this time I think it's our best option. We believe this is what's best for our boy and his hunting blood.💜

Introducing Scott.......His approximate DOB is 3-25-2025. Scott is a tan Mixed Breed. He has been neutered & has had his first round of vaccinations. His weight at time of intake was 36 lbs. Here is the write up I swiped from WCAWC where Scott was in intake: Scott is a mystery mix who may contain some Pug, Beagle, Terrier… and probably a few ingredients we haven't identified yet. Whatever the recipe is, the result is pretty darn cute! But Scott isn't just a handsome face. ❤️ 🐾 Loves people — apparently he has never met a stranger. 🐾 Seems to like other dogs — so far, he's been great with his canine friends. 🐾 Farm-animal approved! Ryder was saved after his owner threatened to shoot him for not being a good hunting dog. We had planned to keep him as a buddy for our beagle (our other passed away), however with the number of dogs in our rescue, it is only fair to Ryder to have a home of his own. He is a wonderful dog with typical beagle behavior. He was abused so I would not suggest small children or children who do not understand to pet softly. He loves to be loved on and is understanding that he is safe now. He is not a hunting dog and needs to be indoor. He is full-blooded but he did not come with papers (if that is important).
