Smudge is 11 years old and belonged to my mother who has had a stroke, and is now permanently in a nursing home. I am allergic to dogs and my husband and I both work around 12 hours a day, so we cannot properly attend to his needs. He is very loving and just needs a proper home.

Story
Honey is a 11 year old beagle. She is a very vocal dog who loves to be outside. Her favorite things to do is hunt for the pesky voles and bark at the wind for entering her yard. She has a 2 older brothers(cat and dog) that she loves to play with even when they don't want to play with her. We adopted her from the Allen County Animal Shelter when she was 4 years old. She does have a bite history and has become food aggressive to the point where she is bullying her older brother and stealing his food. She does nip at you if you try to move her away from her brother's food. That is the reason we are looking for a new home for her as we have a 4 year old and a 1 year old that has recently found interest in dog food and he fear that she may bite the one year old. She needs a new home with older kids that can show her the love and attention that she needs. Honey would prefer a fenced in back yard so she can run freely. She currently has a doggy door for 24/7 access outside.

Bagel wandered up to my daughter just before Christmas. Her paws were raw and swollen from being exposed to the cold weather. From the moment she arrived she has been the sweetest little girl. She has barked maybe twice since she has been with us too. She seems to be potty trained some (only one accident in the house) but she does potty in her crate. I took her to the Vet 1/6/26. Doctor said Bagel is approx 7 years old. No microchip. Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative!

He seems fairly independent, doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, and would do well with a calm canine friend. Santa Baby would thrive best in an active home that understands his need for exercise, enrichment, and gentle reassurance. Emi is a 2-year-old Beagle who found her way to us thanks to a kind Good Samaritan who hoped to make her part of their family. When that didn’t work out, they did the loving thing and brought Emi here so she could find a forever family of her very own. Emi is still adjusting to the shelter world and can be a little scared as she settles in, but beneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet girl. She does well with kids and loves gentle affection once she feels comfortable. True to her breed, Emi is full of classic Beagle charm—yes, that includes her adorable Beagle “voice” and curious nose! She isn’t a big fan of cats and would do best in a cat-free home, though with a very slow and patient introduction she may be able to adapt. Emi is also an escape artist, so a secure situation and attentive supervision will be important to keep this clever girl safe. If you’re ready for loyal companionship, lots of personality, and a little Beagle music in your life, Emi might just be the perfect addition to your family.
