Meet Bella 🐾 Bella joined our family in April 2025 and is just over a year old. She is a very sweet, loving dog who enjoys cuddling, being close to her people, and giving lots of affection. Bella gets along great with our 7-year-old golden retriever and does well with other dogs. She has been bell trained for potty breaks and does well most of the time, though she still has occasional accidents. Bella loves being outdoors and especially enjoys sniffing and exploring her surroundings. Bella does not do well being crated for long periods, and with our work schedules, this has become challenging. She would thrive in a home where she can spend more time out of the crate and have access to more land or a larger yard. We live in town with limited space, and her curiosity often leads her to want to explore neighboring yards or near the road. Bella is incredibly affectionate and deserving of a home that better fits her needs so she can truly thrive.

Smudge is 11 years old and belonged to my mother who has had a stroke, and is now permanently in a nursing home. I am allergic to dogs and my husband and I both work around 12 hours a day, so we cannot properly attend to his needs. He is very loving and just needs a proper home.

Story
Honey is a 11 year old beagle. She is a very vocal dog who loves to be outside. Her favorite things to do is hunt for the pesky voles and bark at the wind for entering her yard. She has a 2 older brothers(cat and dog) that she loves to play with even when they don't want to play with her. We adopted her from the Allen County Animal Shelter when she was 4 years old. She does have a bite history and has become food aggressive to the point where she is bullying her older brother and stealing his food. She does nip at you if you try to move her away from her brother's food. That is the reason we are looking for a new home for her as we have a 4 year old and a 1 year old that has recently found interest in dog food and he fear that she may bite the one year old. She needs a new home with older kids that can show her the love and attention that she needs. Honey would prefer a fenced in back yard so she can run freely. She currently has a doggy door for 24/7 access outside.

Bagel wandered up to my daughter just before Christmas. Her paws were raw and swollen from being exposed to the cold weather. From the moment she arrived she has been the sweetest little girl. She has barked maybe twice since she has been with us too. She seems to be potty trained some (only one accident in the house) but she does potty in her crate. I took her to the Vet 1/6/26. Doctor said Bagel is approx 7 years old. No microchip. Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative!

He seems fairly independent, doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, and would do well with a calm canine friend. Santa Baby would thrive best in an active home that understands his need for exercise, enrichment, and gentle reassurance. With consistency, love, and plenty of adventures, this handsome guy has all the potential to become a loyal and happy companion.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
