Story
Meet Oliver - a classic beagle with a big personality, an even bigger voice, and a nose that believes every scent deserves a full investigation.Oliver is a confident, expressive boy who isn’t shy about sharing his opinions - whether it’s about dinner time, walk time, or simply the current state of things in general. He’s happiest when he has space to move, explore, and follow his beagle instincts wherever they lead.Because of his vocal nature, Oliver would do best in a home rather than an apartment, where he has room to be himself without close neighbors nearby. He also prefers to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention and settle into a predictable routine.Oliver really enjoys getting out and about - daily walks, sniffing adventures, or time in a secure yard where he can stretch his legs and put that legendary nose to work would make his day. He’s the kind of dog who thrives with structure, activity, and people who appreciate a spirited companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, lively beagle who will keep life interesting (and rarely quiet), Oliver is ready to bring his whole heart (and his whole voice) into his next home.

Story
Gator is the life of the party wrapped up in one wiggly, goofy package. This happy boy loves people, loves playtime, and definitely loves attention. Whether he’s proudly carrying toys around the house, showing off his signature butt wiggles, or trying to convince you that he absolutely belongs in your lap, Gator knows how to make everyone around him smile. He’s playful, social, and energetic, but he also has a softer side and enjoys settling down for cuddle time once he’s gotten his zoomies out. Gator enjoys squeaky toys, takes treats nicely, and gets along well with other dogs. While he can be a little mouthy during playtime, it’s all part of his goofy personality and excitement, not aggression. He will benefit from continued work on manners and positive redirection as he learns the best ways to channel his enthusiasm. Gator would thrive in an active home that can provide daily exercise, playtime, and lots of companionship. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything his people are doing and will happily keep you entertained along the way. With his silky smooth coat, floppy ears, and lovable personality, Gator is equal parts comedian and cuddle bug. If you’re looking for a fun-loving best friend who can keep you laughing and then curl up beside you at the end of the day, Gator may be the perfect fit.

Story
Hopper is a goofy, energetic boy who is always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure. With his short legs, floppy ears, and playful personality, he’s impossible not to smile around. Hopper loves to stay active and would be thrilled to join his people for walks, play sessions, or any activity that lets him burn off some energy and show off his athletic side. This smart guy already knows “sit,” walks nicely on a leash, and takes treats gently, making him a fun and rewarding companion to work with. Hopper especially loves playing fetch and could happily spend hours chasing after balls and bringing them back for another round. His alert and intelligent nature means he enjoys staying engaged and involved with what’s happening around him. Hopper would thrive in a home that can match his active lifestyle and continue helping him channel his energy in positive ways. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, learning new things, or simply making everyone laugh with his goofy antics, Hopper brings excitement and joy wherever he goes. Story
Pickles is a 3-year-old Beagle/Boxer mix with a truly one-of-a-kind look — and a heart to match. Her soft, soulful eyes and gentle spirit tell the story of a girl who hasn’t had the easiest start, but who’s ready to soak up all the love she’s missed out on. Pickles is the definition of a velcro dog — she always wants to be close to her people, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or climbing right into your lap for snuggles. When she gets excited, she breaks into the cutest little tippy-taps with her paws that are guaranteed to melt your heart. Pickles is lover of playtime and can sometimes play a little rough with people she trusts, but we think with a little training she'll be able to regulate that in no time. She’s friendly and social with every dog she meets and has a sweet, submissive play style that makes her a great companion for canine friends. Pickles is also wonderful with kids, but her prey drive kicks in a little too much when she's around cats, so she'd do best in a home without them. This smart girl is potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic manners. She responds to her name and walks well on a leash. Pickles is both food- and praise-motivated, making her eager to please and a joy to train. Pickles would thrive in just about any loving home — whether it’s with another dog or as the center of attention — as long as she has her own people to love and stay close to. She’s a sweetheart through and through, just happy to be alive and ready to share that happiness with you. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll stick by your side through thick and thin, Pickles is your girl.

Story
Rigby: Polite, Playful, and Ready to Be Your Best Buddy Hi, I’m Rigby! I’m a 3-year-old Beagle weighing 38 pounds. I’ve got a pretty great balance of manners and fun. I’m housetrained, I know how to sit and shake (yes, I’m taking applications for treat distributors), and I’ve been told I’m a very good boy. I love getting out for walks and playing with anyone who’s up for it. Whether it’s a game in the yard or just hanging out, I’m happy to be part of whatever you’re doing. I’ll need a physically fenced yard so I can safely run and play—because when it’s playtime, I like to make the most of it. One thing that makes me a little unique? I’m not much of a barker, especially for a Beagle. I prefer to keep things pretty chill and save my energy for the important stuff—like fun and cuddles. At night, I’m all about the snuggles. I sleep in bed with my foster parents and take my role as nighttime companion very seriously. If you’re looking for a friendly, well-mannered dog who can keep up with your adventures and then curl up beside you at the end of the day, I might just be your guy. Rigby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you would like to meet Rigby, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Rigby you can contact rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657. Adopters must be within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA.  Indoor homes only.  Adoption fee $300.
