Story
We got Gabby as a little puppy and just under a year later she had puppies. She is up to date on her vaccines and has been fixed. She loves everyone, but she will bark at strangers. She loves to cuddle and play fetch. It's difficult to get her a new home, however I can't keep 3 dogs where I'm living now..

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Mickey! Mickey is a handsome almost 4-year-old Beagle mix with a striking black-and-white coat and a gentle nature. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine! Mickey is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace. Having another small to medium-sized dog in the home is a must for Mickey. He takes great comfort in canine companionship and has enjoyed living with other dogs.  A confident dog friend will help him blossom, we have seen this firsthand when he attends doggie daycare and becomes the life of the party with his dog friends!  Because Mickey has shown some impressive climbing skills, he will also need a physically fenced yard with fencing taller than 4 feet. We've seen him scale 3- to 4-foot gates, so a taller, secure fence will be important to keep him safe. If you're looking for a gentle soul who just needs a little encouragement to come out of his shell, Mickey may be the perfect addition to your family. Extra points to you if your current dogs name is Minnie and we can match her with her Mickey!!    Mickey's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and 4DX testing.  Mickey is seeking a home as an indoor companion, if you would like to meet him please submit an application at Adopthope.org.  Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of keeping their previously owned pets; altered, kept current on vaccines/preventatives/annual vet care and as indoor pets.  Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 12:13 pm

Story
Pickles is a 3-year-old Beagle/Boxer mix with a truly one-of-a-kind look — and a heart to match. Her soft, soulful eyes and gentle spirit tell the story of a girl who hasn’t had the easiest start, but who’s ready to soak up all the love she’s missed out on. Pickles is the definition of a velcro dog — she always wants to be close to her people, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or climbing right into your lap for snuggles. When she gets excited, she breaks into the cutest little tippy-taps with her paws that are guaranteed to melt your heart. Pickles is lover of playtime and can sometimes play a little rough with people she trusts, but we think with a little training she'll be able to regulate that in no time. She’s friendly and social with every dog she meets and has a sweet, submissive play style that makes her a great companion for canine friends. Pickles is also wonderful with kids, but her prey drive kicks in a little too much when she's around cats, so she'd do best in a home without them. This smart girl is potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic manners. She responds to her name and walks well on a leash. Pickles is both food- and praise-motivated, making her eager to please and a joy to train. Pickles would thrive in just about any loving home — whether it’s with another dog or as the center of attention — as long as she has her own people to love and stay close to. She’s a sweetheart through and through, just happy to be alive and ready to share that happiness with you. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll stick by your side through thick and thin, Pickles is your girl.

Story
Rigby: Equal Parts Gentleman and Goofball Hi there! My name is Rigby, and I'm a 3-year-old, 38-pound Beagle with a talent for making friends wherever I go. If you're looking for a dog who's ready for adventure, always up for fun, and still knows how to mind his manners, we should probably meet. I'm housetrained, know how to sit and shake, and have perfected the art of looking adorable while accepting treats. Some might call me smart. I prefer "highly treat-motivated professional." When the sun is up, I'm ready to go. Walks? Absolutely. Playing in the yard? Count me in. Exploring the world with my people? That's my favorite thing. I'll need a physically fenced yard where I can safely stretch my legs and enjoy a good Beagle romp. After all, I have important squirrel surveillance duties to attend to. Even though I enjoy being active, I'm not all zoomies and adventures. Once the day is done, I'm happy to trade my explorer hat for cuddle duty. I sleep in bed with my foster parents and take my job as bedtime snuggle specialist very seriously. If there's a warm blanket and a human nearby, you'll know exactly where to find me. The best thing about me? I'm just an easy dog to love. I'm friendly, fun, affectionate, and always happy to be included in whatever my people are doing. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who can join you for daytime adventures and nighttime cuddles, I think we might be the perfect match. Rigby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you would like to meet Rigby, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Rigby you can contact rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657. Adopters must be within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA. Indoor homes only. Adoption fee $300.
