Nugget's tail never stops wagging, and neither does the fun!
At just 7 months old and 16 pounds, Nugget is everything you could want in a Beagle puppy. He's happy, playful, and full of life. If his soulful eyes and floppy ears don't steal your heart, his joyful personality certainly will.
Nugget has never met a playmate he didn't love. He adores other dogs and quickly wins them over with his enthusiastic invitations to play. Whether he's bringing sticks and toys in from the yard for his foster parents or showing off what may very well be the world's best zoomies, Nugget knows how to make every day more entertaining. Even when everyone else is ready for a break, Nugget is perfectly content to keep the fun going by tossing his toys into the air, chasing them around the yard, and inventing games all by himself.
He's making great progress with housetraining and will go to the door when he needs to go outside. Like any young Beagle, he sometimes needs a little extra time because there are simply too many interesting scents to investigate! Inside the house, Nugget has excellent manners. He understands the difference between dog toys and people belongings, is respectful of his home, and is eager to learn.
Nugget would thrive in a home with another confident, playful dog. He takes his cues from his foster sister and loves having a canine companion to show him the ropes. When meeting new people by himself, he can be a little shy at first, but with another friendly dog leading the way, he quickly realizes that new friends are pretty great.
When the day's adventures are over, Nugget transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug. Most evenings you'll find him curled up in his foster dad's lap or snoozing in a dog bed nearby. Belly rubs and ear scratches are among his favorite things, and he happily sleeps through the night in his kennel beside his foster parents' bed.
Because Nugget is an active young Beagle who loves to run, explore, and play, a physically fenced yard is required. It gives him the safe space he needs to burn off puppy energy while satisfying his curious Beagle nose.

Nugget is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
