We got Wilson when he was a puppy in 2019, he is a great dog - we have just experienced that he can be too hyper around young kids and toddlers. He would make a great addition to a couple or family without young kiddos. Please feel free to ask any questions! We want him to go to a good, loving home!

Story
Gus was brought into our family when it was just me and my husband. He lives on a few acres in the country and loves to explore, which sometimes gets him in some mischief with that beagle nose of his. Gus loves being the center of attention, snuggling with whoever will let him get close, and eating treats. Gus is such a loving dog and is loyal until the end. Once my husband and I started having kids, Gus’ patience became short with them and he was not interested in playing or engaging with the kids. He has become very jealous that the kids get the attention that they do and has begun acting out by urinating in the home/snapping at the kids. No matter what we do to help keep him calm, give him as much attention as we can, keep the kids at a distance, it seems to not be enough. Gus would be most happy in a home where he is the one and only and can enjoy love and attention without feeling like he has to compete for it. This decision has not come lightly. Gus is truly a great boy.
