Information: Chip was brought to the shelter as a stray from the country. He was running with his brother Tater making new friends all over the country side. He is a super sweet boy who is a little nervous here at the shelter but we have no doubts once out of the shelter environment and in a good home he will be great! Please keep in mind that he is a hound mix and hounds tend to following their noses and can go great distances if they get a good scent. This may not be the case for this particular dog but it is something to also keep in mind when adopting hound dogs. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.

Information: Tater was brought to the shelter as a stray from the country. Him and his brother Chip were running making friend all over the countryside. He is a sweet boy who is really nervous here at the shelter. He is a bit more reserved than his brother and may require a little more time to adjust and settle into a new home. He is a super sweet boy and with some time and patience we have no doubts that he'll be a wonderful companion for someone. Please keep in mind that he is a hound mix and hounds tend to following their noses and can go great distances if they get a good scent. House trained and a good grasp of basic commands.
