Story
I'm Jack, a handsome 8-year-old brown and white Beagle with a heart full of love to give! 🐕 I'm neutered, food-motivated, and playful — though I'm on the quieter, shyer side, so I do best in a calm environment where loud noises like thunder don't stress me out. The wonderful news is I'm great with everyone: men, women, children, cats, and other dogs, making me a perfect fit for almost any family. I'm adventurous and loyal, ready to be your trusted companion on life's journeys. My adoption fee is just $60, so come meet me and let's start our adventure together! ❤️

Story
"Jeff is a very social pup. He does great with kids and strangers. He has always been extremely eager to run to any other dogs or people nearby (to play). He has never nipped or bit or acted with any aggression towards anyone at all, ever. He is one of the friendliest dogs I've ever seen. He is treat motivated. He LOVES dog safe peanut butter. He does not like to be left alone in his kennel. At night, he will settle if you put him in his kennel and sit there in the same room with him until he falls asleep. But, you have to force him into the kennel. Jeff definitely understands that when we go outside, he has to pee immediately. He has had one or two poo accidents inside the home the entire time we have had him. I would consider him mostly potty trained. But he does need a little more practice, mostly with urine. Jeff has been practicing waiting patiently for his food to be poured before just rushing over into his bowl and is beginning to understand the concept. He knows that if he doesn't sit for it, I will not pour the food or allow him access to it until he sits down. He eats one cup of puppy kibble twice a day at 6am and 6pm. I take the water away around 7 or 8 to prevent pee accidents in the kennel. Overall Jeff is pretty quiet. He will occasionally alert bark. Or he will whine/talk when he gets really excited. He is FULL of energy first thing in the morning but also doesn't mind laying down for a midday nap. He also did well for his first bath."
