Story
How I came to CMHS: private citizen found puppy on property I've been exposed to: children ages 4 to 12, large and small-breed dogs ages 8mo to 13yrs, NO CATS House trained/crate trained: working on house training, no crate training A little bit more about me: I am a very sweet and playful puppy! I just found out how to make soft toys squeak, and I'm pretty good at self-sustained play as long as I have a toy to shake and squeak! Even though I still have my baby shark puppy teeth (watch your fingers!), it still takes me quite a while to get through chew treats, so I often give them up to my older foster sibs after I get a few chews in. I love meeting all humans, and just need a few minutes when meeting new doggos to realize I'm safe and have new playmates to romp with. I often try to initiate play sessions with my current foster sibs (2 senior pit bulls), but they're pretty sleepy and boring. I would love to go to a home that has more energy! I have not met cats yet, so I'm not sure if they're friend or foe. Car rides are only ok. I love adventures, but prefer walks over long trips in the car. I'm most likely a mixed breed puppy with some beagle genetics, but I don't go crazy like typical beagles when food is around (I do have a passion for peanut butter though!). I'm pretty good around the house (no furniture chewing) and am doing well with my potty-training. Fill out an app for me so we can meet and become best friends!

Story
Our Lanky guy is house trained, crate trained, loves playing tug-of-war with ropes and his blue ring. He loves belly rubs and snuggles. While he okay with other dogs and cats he takes a bit to be fully comfortable. He’s enjoys kids that are old enough to play or give him attention but we are finding that babies steal too much of the attention he is used to having and that is causing the pain point for us. He does like to bark at animals outside but that can be controlled with treats/positive reinforcement. He does really well with training. He can do the basics: sit, lie down, stay, paw. He will also do a spin and he used to do roll over, but it’s been a while since we practiced that. We are sad to be rehoming, but with our baby, he continues to show jealously towards the attention she gets. Overall he is a sweet boy that wants a family to love, snuggle, play with, and go on walks with. Bonus: He is a perfect work-from-home ‘coworker’ he enjoy napping by you while you work.
