Meet Abby! 🐾 Abby is a beautiful 3½-year-old Beagle with a sweet personality and a whole lot of love to give! Unfortunately, Abby recently found herself back in our care through no fault of her own. Her previous family was in the process of building a home and temporarily living in an RV. While Abby had previously done well with the children in the household, the increasingly cramped living arrangements began to create some tension. With everyone sharing such a small space, Abby became a little more defensive of her personal space, and her family ultimately made the difficult decision that finding her a different home would be in everyone’s best interest. Since returning to us, Abby has been an absolute delight! She’s been sweet, friendly, affectionate, and just your typical happy-go-lucky Beagle. We truly believe she found herself in a difficult situation that simply wasn’t the right fit for her anymore. Abby was reportedly housetrained and well-mannered in a home environment. She has also lived with other dogs successfully in the past, although we always recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings to ensure everyone gets along. As a Beagle, Abby comes with all the wonderful quirks of her breed! Beagles are known for their cheerful personalities, curious noses, love of exploring, and occasional stubborn streak. They’re scent hounds through and through, which means an interesting smell can sometimes be more exciting than anything else! A secure yard, regular exercise, and opportunities to put that nose to work would be wonderful for her. We believe Abby would thrive in a home where she has room to relax, a predictable routine, and people who respect her personal space. Given her previous experience, we’d especially encourage a family with children to be mindful of her boundaries and make sure she always has a comfortable place to retreat when she needs a break. Abby has already shown us what a wonderful companion she can be. Sometimes life throws unexpected challenges our way, and even the best dogs can find themselves in circumstances that just don’t work out. Now, Abby is ready for a fresh start, a little more breathing room, and a family to call her own. Could that be you? ❤️

Bagel enjoys long walks with lots of fun things to smell. He has that beagle bay that will be unleashed upon excitement, or when he is missing his human, so a non-apartment home would be best. Bagel loves meeting new people and is quite the gentleman when meeting new dogs. Bagel currently lives in a home with kids and does excellent. He is house trained and is making great strides at his crate training.
