Meet our super sweet Joanie June Bug!!   This darling 7 month old, 19 lb Beagle and Boston Terrier mix is such a fun little girl and would make an amazing BFF or family dog! Joanie is playful, active, curious, and always ready to see what’s going on. She loves toys, chews, tug-of-war, walks, and pretty much anything that involves spending time with her people. Her beautiful brindle coloring, light eyes, and little dab of pink on her nose make her extra unique.   Joanie is a loving, submissive girl who tends to let others lead while she takes everything in. She’s learning quickly and doing so well! She walks nicely on a leash, listens well for her age, is learning her commands, and is inquisitive about everything around her. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids and has such a sweet, affectionate personality. She loves getting pets and belly rubs, cuddling with her people, and settling in for some quiet time at the end of the day. She sleeps nicely in her crate at night.   Joanie was surrendered to us from a commercial breeder (who breeds “designer hybrids”) when she and her littermates didn’t sell fast enough. She was lucky to get out of that cycle and is now learning just how fun life can be.   She’s doing well with potty training and will just need a family who is willing to continue helping her along with puppy training as she gets the hang of everything.   Joanie June Bug is spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, on preventatives, and ready to find her forever family!  Her adoption donation is $450. Hi there, my name is Tilly! I’m a 7 month old Beagle and Boston Terrier mix. My foster mom says I look and act mostly like a Beagle, but I have beautiful brindle markings. I weigh almost 20 lbs and probably won’t get too much bigger. They say I’m a perfect little family dog.    I love to play! Give me any toy and I’m a happy girl; better yet, give me a whole pile of toys and I will keep myself entertained for a while! I do still get puppy zoomies that keep my foster family entertained. I even get my older, much bigger than me, canine foster siblings to join in whenever I can. After a hard day of play and mischief, I also enjoy a good snuggle! My passion in life is sniffing out good smells. My ideal family will have lots of interesting scents inside and outside their home. And I love going on walks.   I was surrendered to Haven rescue from a commercial breeder (who breeds “designer hybrids”) when I didn’t sell fast enough. I’m lucky to get out of that cycle and learning just how fun life can be. Because I didn’t have the easiest start to life, I am still working on my puppy skills. If you leave your lunch unattended on the table, I’m gonna eat it (hey I’m a growing Beagle!). Lucky for you, I am not tall enough to counter surf. I don’t love my crate yet, but I will sleep in it and keep it clean most nights. If I’m not in the mood to be in my crate I will let you know about it. I am slowly improving on potty training, so my new family will need to have patience with me while I master all these puppy training steps.    I can sometimes be shy with new people and crowded places, but I warm up quickly. I love the children in my foster home, and have even been around toddlers. I get along great with everyone! I think cats are very interesting, but the cats in my foster family don’t want to be my friend. I give them a respectful distance.   I am fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and dewormed.
