Hey I’m Gail! I'm a very pretty beagle mix currently available for adoption. First introductions are not a strength of mine but once I settle in and have a minute to get to know you I am the sweetest little thing you’ll ever meet. I am kennel trained and working on potty training. I just get really excited!  I love to play with my foster humans and their dogs, and even their cat! My ideal home would have a fenced yard for me to romp around in and another dog for me to play with. I’m an introvert at heart and am looking for a home ready to love me as hard as I’ll love them.  Gail is about 7 months old and 30lbs.   To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. Billy the Beagle is a very sweet 8 month old, 28 pound boy that survived a hoarder situation. From there he sadly went to a shelter where he was very scared and frightened.  Luckily he quickly came into rescue and immediately fit in at his foster home where he is learning all about love and safety!  Billy loves the other dogs of all sizes but his favorite is an 8-month-old cardigan corgi that he plays with for hours.  This sweet boy is eager to please and is very smart.  He learned the dog door in under 24 hours and also to go into his crate for feeding time twice a day.   Billy looks for affirmation and positive support from his foster.   He had a bath and the groomer said he was a little shy and scared but did very well.  After playtime Billy loves to relax on the couch with his furry friends and foster Mom.  This sweetheart will give you hours of love and snuggles then turn around and give you hours of summer play and fun times with walking adventures. Billy is a fabulous boy who wants his forever person or family. Billy the Beagle is a ready made family dog that will be a fabulous companion everyone. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
