Story
Suzie and Billy are a bonded pair of sweet, loving beagles. For a year after their owner was admitted to a nursing home, they remained in that home with a neighbor stopping over to feed them. Unfortunately, their owner never returned, and now they are in need of a new person/people. They are lap dogs, and they love attention. They are good with dogs and cats. Can anyone open their home to these two seniors? If you have any questions feel free to email us at info@humanecny.org; or for a head start, you can begin the adoption process for Suzie & Billy right now by filling out an application on our website, www.humanecny.org; or email info@humanecny.org; or call us at (315) 457-8762.Contact HumaneCNY if interested in this animal. Story
I bought my dog off of a website, he was just a puppy back then he was about 4 months old. Mason is extremely friendly and playful he likes to be close to his mom/Dad but he also likes his space too. Mason is 8 years and 6 months old now and I swear he still thinks he's a puppy lol. Mason is mat or cage trained as far as the bathroom. Mason would need a owner who can spend time with him or who is home a lot because he doesn't like to be alone. Mason also needs someone who can afford him he has anal gland issues so he goes to the vet every month to get them drained or whatever they do and this cost around $90 a visit. I'm rehoming my dog because I can't afford him any longer. He will come with everything u would need to care for him. Food, toys, poppy mats that are washable, food, a kennel and water and food dishes we also have pet stairs for him because my bed is super high off the floor. I'm getting desperate no animal shelters have space for him. I don't know what else to do.

Story
Goop is looking for someone who understands that the best friendships don't always happen in the first five minutes. Goop is a 1-year-old Basset Hound mix currently waiting at Animal Control for his second chance. And yes, his name is Goop. He's got the short-ish Basset look, the most convincing giant puppy-dog eyes, and a sweet personality that's just waiting for him to feel safe enough to show it. Goop is a shy guy. New people make him nervous, so he's probably not going to run across the room and immediately climb into your lap. He needs a minute. He needs someone who won't rush him. Someone who will sit nearby, offer a treat, talk to him softly and let Goop decide when he's ready. Because underneath that nervousness is a young dog who very clearly wants to be loved. You can see it when he looks at you. He wants to come closer. He wants the attention. He's just still figuring out that people can be safe. Goop is dog friendly, and another confident dog may even be helpful in showing him the ropes. We are currently unsure about cats. At only a year old, Goop has so much ahead of him. We'd love to get him out of the stressful Animal Control environment and into a home where he can decompress and start showing us who he really is. We want to bring him into Rover's Do Over. We just need somewhere to bring him. You can foster. You can foster-to-adopt. Or you can decide that a Basset mix named Goop with ridiculously sad puppy eyes is exactly the kind of questionable life decision you've been waiting to make. If you foster, RDO provides his food, supplies, veterinary care and support. You provide the patience, the safe place and eventually—when he's ready—the belly rubs. Foster Goop: www.roversdoover.com/foster Adopt Goop: www.roversdoover.com/adopt Goop doesn't need someone who expects him to love them immediately. He needs someone willing to show him that he can. ##2836374##

Story
Bailey is a 3yo spayed female and she is the sweetest thing! Loves her people more than anything and gets along with cats and most dogs (big dogs can be a little scary sometimes). Bailey has lots of energy and would do best in an active home environment and/or somewhere with lots of room to run around and play! She’s needs to find a home within the next couple months :)
