Story
Barney is the sweetest little guy ever. He got to the shelter in NC a few months ago, totally covered with mange. Poor little guy. He is about 6 months old and about 18 lbs of love and affection (could get a bit bigger than 28 lbs). His mange is gone, and his coat looks great now - way better than in photos. Barney is playful and silly and loves other dogs and cats. Just the best little man. He is crate trained and housebroken and so happy. Truly a wonderful little guy, and very smart. SO MUCH cuter in person (and smaller). A must meet, for this little companion will steal your heart for sure. Fenced yard is important for hound types.   LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   June 1, 2026, 12:45 pm

Story
LEWIS - THE BEAGLE WHO HAS PROMOTED HIMSELF TO BOSSEver wanted a dog who believes leadership is important? Meet Lewis. Lewis is a Beagle, which means two things:He has a nose that could locate a sandwich from three zip codes away, and he has opinions. Lewis is not a bad dog. In fact, he’s a very good dog. But he’s also the kind of dog who believes life works best when there are clear rules, daily exercise, and a human who actually means what they say. Right now Lewis is under-exercised and under-socialized, which means he’s developed hobbies like guarding couches, high places, and challenging management. The good news? Lewis already knows basic obedience and he’s crate trained. He’s smart, loyal, and perfectly capable of being an amazing companion. What Lewis doesn’t need is someone looking for a baby.He needs someone who understands Beagles and isn’t afraid to be in charge. Lewis is looking for an experienced dog owner who will provide real exercise, structure, and boundaries. His ideal home will:• Provide plenty of exercise• Have a securely fenced yard for sniffing important Beagle business• Set clear rules• Not include children under 16• Best suited for an active adult household Give Lewis structure and leadership and you’ll discover a fantastic dog with a huge personality and a loyal heart. Visit our website at www.rdrne.org to fetch an application and make it official! You must be at least 25 and live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. Story
Chai is a beagle mix turning five on August 2026. Adopted from Jonah’s Ark Animal Rescue. Due to a change in circumstances, we’re searching for a home to give her the life she deserves.Chai is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. Her favorite thing to do is snuggling. She thrives on attention and repays it with endless love and companionship. She’s also got a protective streak, keeping the yard clear of unwanted critters. She’s great with kids, having played with children ages 9 and 11, has lived alongside a cat for years, and plays well with other dogs at a local doggy dare care. Chai is fully potty trained, she goes outside in the yard and waits at the patio door to come back in or head out for a walk. She knows commands including sit, lay down, and wait, especially with the help of treats. We’re looking for a home that will give her the time, love, and attention.

Story
At just 4 months old, this baby beagle-shepherd mix is already ready to trade puppy kisses for a lifetime of love. Olive came to us a surrender from an overcrowding situation along with 3 dogs. She’s looking for a patient, loving home where she can keep growing into the amazing dog she’s becoming — ideally with lots of cuddles, playtime, and people who don’t mind an opinionated pup. A family, a fenced yard, or another friendly dog would make her so happy, but most of all she just wants someone to call her own. If interested in meeting Olive, please fill out a pre approval form https://nokillarc.org/adoptable-.dog

Story
Rum and Tequila are 2 gorgeous mixes that weigh approximately 35 lbs each and are approximately 1 year old. While we do not know their exact breed, they are full grown at 35 lbs – We believe they could be a mix of pointer, heeler, beagle and maybe dalmatian. These 2 girls are NOT bonded, but they were found together and well… you can just look at their spots and see how similar they look! Rum and Tequila were found with their mom and another sibling. The mom and brother have since been adopted, but the finder originally wanted to keep these 2 girls but can no longer. They were found behind a liquor store when they were only 8 weeks old. The clerk had made a small shelter behind the store out of liquor boxes, hence how they got their names. This is their first time being listed for adoption, so they finally have a chance to find their forever home. Both girls are very similar in personality (and looks!) They both LOVE children and would be fantastic in a home with all age children. Tequila has been sleeping in by the side of the bed of the foster’s children and just loves it. Rum and Tequila love other dogs and would thrive in a home with or without them. They are not overconfident, but they are not scared either. Rum and Tequila are the perfect middle ground of just going with the flow. They have met all size dogs and no issues. Both dogs have been introduced to cats and just ignore them. They show no prey drive therefore we believe they can live happily with cats with proper introductions. Rum and Tequila are crate trained and house trained. They know how to walk on a leash, and they both do well on it! They ride in the car with no issues and would be great as adventure buddies! The only difference the foster does point out is Tequila is calmer but still loves her play time. Rum is more active and playful and would be better suited in a more active home while Tequila would be fine for a calmer home/medium active home. These dogs might as well be perfect. They are sweet, friendly, loving, playful, gentle, kind and they love all animals and all people they meet. They are super smart and would make the perfect addition to the perfect home. Rum and Tequila are spayed, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on dewormer and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Each adoption fee is $495. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany and Latham, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayton and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh/Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
