Story
Bailey was born on an Amish Farm in rural Pennsylvania. He’s approximately 10yrs old and despite being a senior dog, is still playful and active. He’s a normal weight and has only had minor health concerns. Bailey will never turn down a snack and currently enjoys home cooked dog food. He only barks when it’s time to go outside for a potty break or to alert when someone is at the front door. Bailey is very easy-going and likes to watch tv or nap. He needs a fenced yard or to be on a leash while outdoors. He interacts well with other people and dogs but is not trained. Bailey was a gift for my father who is now a senior himself and struggling with terminal cancer. He can no longer manage the dog but would like to see him rehomed with a loving family.

Story
Barney is the sweetest little guy ever. He got to the shelter in NC a few months ago, totally covered with mange. Poor little guy. He is about 6 months old and about 18 lbs of love and affection (could get a bit bigger than 28 lbs). His mange is gone, and his coat looks great now - way better than in photos. Barney is playful and silly and loves other dogs and cats. Just the best little man. He is crate trained and housebroken and so happy. Truly a wonderful little guy, and very smart. SO MUCH cuter in person (and smaller). A must meet, for this little companion will steal your heart for sure. Fenced yard is important for hound types.   LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   July 4, 2026, 12:17 pm

Story
Chai – Beagle Mix | Turning 5 in August 2026Adopted from Jonah’s Ark Animal RescueDue to a change in circumstances, we’re looking for a loving home that will give Chai the life she deserves.Chai is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality, her favorite thing is snuggling, and she repays attention with endless love and companionship. She also has a bit of a protective streak and keeps the yard clear of unwanted critters. She’s great with older kids and has played happily with children ages 9 and 11, but her outdoor energy can be a lot for younger ones. She’s lived alongside a cat for years and plays well with other dogs at daycare, so she does well in multi pet homes with proper introductions.Chai is fully potty trained, waits at the patio door to go out or come in, and knows commands like sit, lay down, and wait especially with treats. She has a sensitive stomach and does best on a consistent routine: scheduled meals of turkey/lamb, water, plaint yogurt. No sudden changes or scraps.

Story
Meet Charlie! A sweetheart with a heart as big as his adorable, floppy ears. Once he knows you, you'll be greeted with soft tail wags, a gentle nuzzle, and a loyal companion who loves being by your side. Charlie is a fan favorite here at the Ranch due to his lovely nature. As he becomes comfortable, his charming personality starts to shine through as he nuzzles in for pets & attention. Charlie is looking for a patient home that can continue helping him build confidence while advocating for him as he navigates the world. He would do best in a home without young children, as he can sometimes be easily startled. If you're looking for a devoted companion and are willing to help him continue growing in confidence, apply for Charlie today! Our adult adoption fee is $350 (not including tax) which includes each animal fixed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, kept on monthly preventions, and dewormed. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please fill out an application on our website lastchanceranch.org. 🏠Last Chance Ranch 📍10 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA ⭐️PA Kennel License #4518
