Story
Amber has not had an easy life. This sweet girl was found in a field with 3 other dogs, along the Texas/Mexico border. The difference with her is – she was producing milk and had obvious puppies somewhere. To the devastation of all of us, we found out somebody had taken her puppies, and left Amber behind. Amber was heartbroken. She had tons of milk, was very motherly, and had no puppies to mother or take care of. You could see the heartbreak she had. Over time, Amber has overcome that tragedy, and has turned into the sweetest, most loving girl. Amber is approximately 4 years old and weighs 42 lbs, despite she could stand to lose a few lbs. She looks to be a beagle mix with her small body and shorter legs, but is not vocal like one. A fun quirk about Amber is if you go to pick her up, she rolls on her back and starts kicking out her little, stubby legs in excitement. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES human contact and belly rubs. Amber loves other dogs but would be fine in a home without them. She sleeps next to the catio and has no issues with cats! She is very laid back and just the sweetest girl. Amber absolutely loves everyone she meets. She is very submissive and very gentle. Amber is crate and house trained. When you baby talk Amber, she starts dancing around in excitement. SHE LOVES BEING BABY TALKED TOO. An ideal home for Amber is one that wants a cuddle buddy and is calmer. She loves being next to her human and relaxing more than anything else. A must for Amber: cuddling and belly scratches. If you want a great apartment dog, a loyal partner and a dog that is more relaxed than most, please consider Amber. Amber is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm positive (they have received the 30-day course of antibiotics and need to stay on heart worm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($495) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Story
Keke is a 4-year-old Beagle/Spaniel mix with the sweetest smile and a gentle personality to match. She can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but it usually doesn’t take long for her to come around. Once she realizes you’re a friend, her happy, affectionate side starts to shine through.Keke has done well with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes. She can be sensitive to loud noises, so a family that understands when she needs a little reassurance would be a great fit.At 4 years old, Keke still has plenty of love, playfulness, and adventures ahead of her. She’s just waiting for someone to give her the chance to settle in and show what a wonderful companion she can be. Interested in meeting Keke? Fill out a pre-approval form on our website.

Story
Meet Chance Some dogs are given a name that fits them perfectly, and Chance is one of them. This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix received his name because he was given a second chance at life—and he has embraced it with his whole heart. Chance came from a hoarding/ animal abuse case where his owners were consequently arrest, arrested.  Despite everything he's been through, Chance has never lost his love for people. His tail still wags, his eyes still light up when he sees you, and he still believes that his forever family is out there waiting for him. Chance is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves attention, enjoys spending time with his people, and has a gentle, loving personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him. He is a little on the chubby side at 56lbs and loves to be a couch potato, though we have put him on an exercise regimen and a diet.  Chance is currently heartworm positive, but that doesn't define who he is. He is receiving treatment and deserves the comfort of a loving home while he completes his journey to recovery. His future is bright, and all he needs now is someone willing to give him the love and security he has always deserved.Chance was given a second chance at life. Could you be the one to give him his second chance at a forever home?  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  September 9, 2026, 12:39 pm

Story
Max is the sweetest boy you could ever ask for. He is gentle and so affectionate. Max is great in any situations with people and dogs, and we can cat test. He is 7 to 8 years old (so not quite a senior), and 45 lbs of love. A must meet, for this handsome guy will steal your heart for sure. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   September 9, 2026, 1:28 pm

Story
Barney is the sweetest little guy ever. He got to the shelter in NC a few months ago, totally covered with mange. Poor little guy. He is about 8 months old and about 22 lbs of love and affection. His mange is gone, and his coat looks great now - way better than in photos. Barney is playful and silly and loves other dogs and cats. Just the best little man. He is crate trained and housebroken and so happy. Truly a wonderful little guy, and very smart. SO MUCH cuter in person (and smaller). A must meet, for this little companion will steal your heart for sure. Fenced yard is important for hound types.   LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility.
