Chai is a loving beagle mix who will be turning five this August. She was adopted from Jonah’s Ark Animal Rescue and has been a cherished member of our family ever since. Due to a change in our circumstances, we’re no longer able to give her the life she deserves and finding her the perfect home means everything to us. Chai is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. She loves walks, knows and her favorite thing in the world is curling up right next to you. She thrives on attention and will repay it with endless love and companionship. She’s great with kids, she’s spent time playing with children around 9 and 11 and handled it beautifully. She’s also proven herself with cats, having lived peacefully alongside one for years. And don’t let her sweet side fool you. she’s got a protective streak too, keeping the yard clear of unwanted critters. We’re looking for a home that will give her the time, love, and attention she’s used to.

Irma is still very spry and will definitely need a fenced-in yard. Irma is very good with the other dogs in the foster home but will be fine as an only dog as long as get enough affection and attention by her new adopters.  She has been fine with her foster's 9 yo grandson. She really does love everyone she meets. Irma keeps her crate clean and goes running right outside with the other dogs in her foster home.Irma is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, had a dental cleaning and microchipped.
