Say hello to BAGEL — a joyful beagle with a big personality and a set of wheels for adventure. BAGEL’s back legs don’t function, but he’s mastered life his own way. Around the yard he’s a champion scoot-zoomer (no wheelchair needed!), and he looks forward to his daily wheelchair walks where he can explore and sniff away. He also spends time each day in a big playgroup, happily hanging with his many friends. People are BAGEL’s favorite, too. He’ll park himself at your feet and wait—patiently and politely—for affection, pets, and cuddles. And when the pace slows down, you’ll find him sunbathing and enjoying the warmth like a pro. BAGEL is incontinent and needs manual expression a few times daily. Caretakers tell us it becomes simple and fast once you learn: “Just a few minutes a few times a day keeps him clean and happy. She is one of three puppies that survive. Foster mom can tell you all about the personality, but if anything like his mama she is going to be a great dog.
