Say hello to BAGEL — a joyful beagle with a big personality and a set of wheels for adventure. BAGEL’s back legs don’t function, but he’s mastered life his own way. Around the yard he’s a champion scoot-zoomer (no wheelchair needed!), and he looks forward to his daily wheelchair walks where he can explore and sniff away. He also spends time each day in a big playgroup, happily hanging with his many friends. People are BAGEL’s favorite, too. He’ll park himself at your feet and wait—patiently and politely—for affection, pets, and cuddles. And when the pace slows down, you’ll find him sunbathing and enjoying the warmth like a pro. BAGEL is incontinent and needs manual expression a few times daily. Caretakers tell us it becomes simple and fast once you learn: “Just a few minutes a few times a day keeps him clean and happy. Story
Renee was born while in rescue care. Her mother appears to be a beagle/chi mix, but as the puppies grow we are starting to think daddy might be a larger dog like a lab. She is one of three puppies that survive. Foster mom can tell you all about the personality, but if anything like his mama she is going to be a great dog.

Our dog Jocko is in need of a new home. He is 6 years old and is already neutered. He is a sweet, energetic dog who likes a lot of attention. He is great with kids and listens well. He previously lived with my parents for 4 years, but it was not working out there. We tried to relocate him at our house, but because we have several other animals (sheep, chickens, ducks, cats, and another dog), it did not work well. Jocko is better one on one and as an only pet. Lots of energy and loves to run and play. Loves attention and wants to be a lap dog. He needs a home where he is the only pet, he is an alpha dog who does not like to share attention and can be aggresive towards other animals. He has strong prey drive so he is not good with farm animals and cats. He is AKC K9 Good Citizen certified (2020). Comes when called. Crate trined, indoor trained and leash trained in the past but it has been a few years. There is no recent vet visits or medications. He is Allergic to wood chips and grain.
