Story
Finn has been is rescue since February. He had several health issues but with time and lots of love, he is 100% healed and ready for his new home! Like most beagles, he is a scent hound and loves spending time in the backyard so a fenced in yard is very desirable for him. He has learned how to be a house pet as well and once he feels comfortable, he will curl up and snooze right next to you. He is such a sweet guy and loves other dogs. He easily figures out his place in the pack and thrives! Please visit www.barcse to complete an adoption application!

Story
Location: West Columbia, SC She is the runt of the litter Breed: Beagle Mix - dad is full blooded beagle (around 20 lbs) and mom is hound mix of some sorts (around 40 lbs). Have pics of mom but not dad. Spayed/Neutered/Shots: none - have been dewormed. Aggression or medical issues?: none Reason for rehoming?: neighbors dog got out and got their pup pregnant before she could be fixed. They have her scheduled to be spayed. They are keeping pups until adopted as I am out of space at my house. House/crate trained?: working on it and doing well. Additional info/story (personality): Beagle means high energy and very smart. Train a lot from the start and they will turn into such good pups and will mellow out around 2 - if you don’t have time to train it will go VERY badly (you don’t need a professional, just YouTube). They’re all very sweet and were giving me tons of kisses. Just need their forever home with some love and attention! She is the shyest of the litter but not to where I see it making too much of a difference as she warmed up to me very fast. Also be aware that their nose will drive them since they should be at least 50% beagle. Some of the pups were already tracing scents around their yard. There are ways to fulfill this need in the home that I can explain if needed, just don’t ever leave unattended outside in a free roam area just in case! Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required (includes showing proof of puppy vaccines and spay/neuter).

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Norman was found stray in the Upstate and taken in by a kind person who took good care of him until a rescue stepped up. We were happy to help him. He is a velcro dog if ever there was one. He wants to be where you are and would be so happy if he could sleep at the foot of your bed. He's not fond of being crated and will bark initially. Norman loves to take walks and follows his nose just like a Beagle is expected to do. He enjoys greeting other dogs on his walk but he's the only one in his foster home. Norman would not be happy alone all day. The foster is working on housetraining and he's learning. Loud and sudden noises scare Norman so a home with toddlers may not be best. He begs to be reassured when he's scared and welcomes the snuggles. Norman is 2. 23 lb. Neuter, shots, microchip provided. Tall securely fenced yard needed.

Story
Dusty is a happy boy! He loves to go on walks and loves affection. He does have some quirks. He will growl sometimes when eating his food if approached. He will do best as the only dog. He just needs all the attention to go to him.

Story
*****If you are interested in adopting Kyla, please copy/paste the following link into your browser for an application. HOWEVER, if you are not certain you are ready to bring a dog into your family, and all family members are not on board, please do not proceed to this next step. www.tinyurl.com/adopt-shpr Scout has a sad story. He and his broghter were kept in a filty pen all their lives. With nowhere clean to eat or sleep, they basically just existed that way until their owner was murdered and we were called. Now Scout has dog friends, and a clean kennel and good food. His brother went on to another rescue and is doing well in his home. Scout will too, if someone will give him that chance, but he needs one on one attention to know that he is safe and loved. He gets along great with other dogs, and loves treats and a calm, reassureing voice. This boy deserves another chance to know what life is all about. He is heartworm positive, but we will treat him for that with an adotion commitment. Scout has been neutered and is up todate on all core vaccines and is microchipped.
