Lucy is a sweet, affectionate young dog with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She enjoys being close to her humans, soaking up attention, and bringing happy energy into the room. She’s playful, eager to engage, and loves interactive time with adults who can match her enthusiasm. Because she’s still young and learning impulse control, Lucy would do best in a home without small children. She can become overly excited during play and doesn’t always realize her strength or mouthiness yet. There is no aggression—this is a training and energy-management need—but for everyone’s safety, an adult-only home or one with older teens is ideal. With structure, consistency, and continued training, Lucy has so much potential to thrive. She’s truly a loving dog who will make a wonderful companion for the right home.

Story
Finney is an 8-year-old, neutered male who is truly the sweetest boy. He is fully house-trained, knows his basic commands, and has great recall. He’s friendly with other animals and kids, loves to cuddle, and has the best personality. Finney is playful and fun—he loves fetch, playing with toys, going on walks, and riding in the car. He can even do a few tricks! He does have a bit of food guarding at times, but it’s short-lived and easily corrected. Finney is a higher-energy guy who needs room to run or regular walks to stay happy. He enjoys being active and would do best with space to stretch his legs. He can dig if given the opportunity and may dig out of certain fenced areas, so a secure setup or open space is important. We are needing to rehome Finney and are hoping to find him a loving home with room to roam and people who will give him the attention and activity he thrives on. He has so much love to give and will make an incredible companion.

Story
Daisy is an extremely sweet and loving dog. She loves other dogs and children of all ages and seems to be very intelligent. I had a blood test performed on her to show her genealogy and she is primarily a mix of Beagle and Basset Hound. She is a little over a year old about 40 pounds. My wife almost hit her with her car about 9 months ago and brought her home with her. We've had all of her shots done/updated and had her spayed 2 months ago. We have another dog that is a husky/shepard mix and while she never gives up trying to play with him and she adores him, the feeling is not mutual. We never planned on having a second dog but didn't want to just take her to the humane society and hope for the best. I'm willing to transport her anywhere in the DFW area if needed to ensure she had a great home where she'll be loved.

Story
Benny is a senior boy with lots of energy, enthusiasm, love and affection. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. He would love to chase the cats if he could so might not be good in a home with cats. He loves a chance to use his Beagle voice but is not an excessive barker; only uses it when he has a reason. He loves being with his human almost as much as treat and meal times. He is not much for car rides, he is good about riding but whines seems nervous wondering where he’s going. Guessing in the past car rides did not end in fun activities for him. He’s a very social boy, loves humans of all sizes and ages and is always happy for rubs and attention. Benny has great house manners and although he uses a crate in his foster home he would be fine without one once he knows his routine. He is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and he is microchipped.
