Story
Gilmore is a cute guy with some funny traits. He is friendly and can be lovable but has some fears. We have had a trainer working with him to get over the fear of a leash. He gets along well with female dogs and has lived with quite a few. He is currently the best friend to Cherokee. They are great companions. Gilley as we like to call him is almost 7. We consider him part of our Sanctuary due to his special needs. He would not be adoptable to a hoe with children. If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Dolores (aka LoLo) was adopted from our program in July of 2025 but unfortunately her owner passed away suddenly. She's now back with our program and in foster care while she waits for her new family. She is eight years old and 45-50 lbs.  Lolo loves daily walks, sun puddles, naps, cuddling with her people, naps, belly rubs, and treats. Did we mention naps? While in her foster home, she's loved small interactions with neighbors and their dogs, but would do best in a calm, quiet home. Due to her age and need for space, she shouldn't be in a home with small and/or rowdy kiddos. Other calm dogs who keep to themselves would likely be ok, or she would thrive as your one and only.  Dolores is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworms a year ago and was treated via the slow-kill method. She will be re-tested in July and we're hoping for a negative result.  Her adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting this sweet lady, please complete an online application today at: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ Age: seven years Weight: 43lbsWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Benny is a senior boy with lots of energy, enthusiasm, love and affection. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with everyone. He would love to chase the cats if he could so might not be good in a home with cats. He loves a chance to use his Beagle voice but is not an excessive barker; only uses it when he has a reason. He loves being with his human almost as much as treat and meal times. He is not much for car rides, he is good about riding but whines seems nervous wondering where he’s going. Guessing in the past car rides did not end in fun activities for him. He’s a very social boy, loves humans of all sizes and ages and is always happy for rubs and attention. Benny has great house manners and although he uses a crate in his foster home he would be fine without one once he knows his routine. He is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and he is microchipped.

Story
Cagney is a beagle mix. 7 years old about 25lbs. She has thick ears and smooth fur. - Loves petting, she will press her head on you for petting. - She is house broken. - Potty trained. She follow my dogs to go out. She will bark or scratch when she wants to come inside. - She potty 2-4 spots each time she is out . She is shy at first so she needs to see the familiar faces while she walk around potty when she arrives at the new place. - She is playful, love to chase my dogs.but she smart enough to avoid my big dog. - Dogs and people friendly? She loves human. She likes to be the boss so a dog with same size and submissive to play with her is better. - She had some separation anxiety, she slept with her previous owner so now I let her sleep in the work room but sometimes she wants to sleep on the sofa so I let her. - Barking? She’s loud but only bark when playing or when she hears something. - I don’t have Cat so I don’t know. - Resources guarding? She will ask for petting if she see you pet other dogs.
