Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Jelly Bean is a 7 yr old 9 mos and 32 lb Retriever/Beagle mix.  Her mom that had her for 6 years had to leave her behind as she had to go to an assisted living facility in Apr 2023.  Jelly Bean is getting depressed. She has gone to every adoption event on Saturdays and has been overlooked because she is a senior dog.  She loves walks, car rides, bones and destroying stuffed dog toys.  She is house and crate trained. She does require a securely fenced yard since she is part Beagle follows her nose.  Since she lived with her mom for 6 years as an only pet, she prefers to be the only pet (no dogs or cats).  She unconditionally loves her humans and loves her daily walks.  Please adopt this senior active gem.  Pssst a nice person has paid most of her adoption fee.   Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. Story
Gimli is a beagle shepherd who will be 3 years old. We have had him as a puppy, but since having young children it’s become harder to give him the love and attention he deserves. Gimli needs a family who can dedicate the time and energy to help him thrive and develop. Though he is house trained, a lot of work is needed to help him outdoors. He pulls when on his leash, barks at everything, and doesn’t always come when called by his name. He has great potential but just needs someone with the patience and time to train him. Gimli will need to be in a home with no other cats or dogs. He does show aggression with animals in the same home, but gets along with other dogs at the park. Please only inquire if you do not have pets already.

Ben is a sweet and loveable soul who needs a relaxed and chill environment to match his desire for serenity. He wants a loyal companion who can offer him a quiet space, consistent walking/hiking, lots of petting and treats galore. He is crate trained, house trained, and does not chew or destroy anything. He knows basic commands and walks like a champ! Ben has low to medium energy. He loves his daily walks, but after that is content to chill and sleep around the house. He loves laying in sunny spots in the house and is very food motivated. He especially loves jumping in the creek and will play tug of war on a big stick. Ben would thrive in a home with low stimulation and consistent love and attention. He could be a loving companion for a family or individual who would want a good combination of chill and walk time. He would not do well in a household with consistent visitors coming in and out and would need patient introductions to new children and visitors.
