Story
Senior for a Senior that loves walks! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Jelly Bean is a 7 yr old 9 mos and 32 lb Retriever/Beagle mix.  Her mom that had her for 6 years had to leave her behind as she had to go to an assisted living facility in Apr 2023.  Jelly Bean is getting depressed. She has gone to every adoption event on Saturdays and has been overlooked because she is a senior dog.  She loves walks, car rides, bones and destroying stuffed dog toys.  She is house and crate trained. She does require a securely fenced yard since she is part Beagle follows her nose.  Since she lived with her mom for 6 years as an only pet, she prefers to be the only pet (no dogs or cats).  She unconditionally loves her humans and loves her daily walks.  Please adopt this senior active gem.  Pssst a nice person has paid most of her adoption fee.   Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.  November 5, 2024, 6:27 am

Story
Hi - I'm Cooper, a 4-year-old Harrier/Beagle mix in need of foster or forever home. I weigh only 35 lbs. I was dumped at a crowded California shelter by my owners, who knows why. I am a good boy, I love other dogs, and I am sweet and gentle. I had kennel mates at the shelter. I am patiently waiting now for someone else to adopt me, so I can enjoy a warm soft bed and some loving attention and affection. Please email for an application.

At home, he’s relaxed and easygoing, perfectly content lounging by your side. But when it’s time to headout, he lights up with joy and is always ready for walks, hikes, or a fun romp at the park. Ben is incredibly social and gets along great with everyone - dogs, kids, and even cats! Smart and food-motivated, he loves to learn and responds well to positive attention. Ben would thrive in a loving home that offers a balance of activity and downtime. He’d do especially well with a family that includes him in everyday life and provides the affection and companionship he craves. Ben is ready to find a loving family that will cherish his kind heart, gentle nature, and playful spirit. Could that be you? What does the dog's ideal home look like? Ben’s ideal home would be with an active, loving family or individual who enjoys a balance of outdoor adventures and relaxed time at home. He’d thrive in a home with other dogs, children, or even cats, as he gets along well with everyone. A family that can offer him daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection would be perfect. Ben would be happiest in a home where he feels included as part of the family and can enjoy both companionship and fun activities. She brought him to a vet, where to everyone’s relief he was found to have only minor injuries. With some care and rest, Ben made a full recovery. Since then, he’s embraced life with a joyful spirit and an open heart. Ben is ready to find his furever home here! Ben is waiting in Mexico until a family is commited to fostering him or taking him on a trial. If you are interested, apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org his adoption fee is $600 ##2396960##
