Her mom that had her for 6 years had to leave her behind as she had to go to an assisted living facility in Apr 2023. Jelly Bean is getting depressed. She has gone to every adoption event on Saturdays and has been overlooked because she is a senior dog. She loves walks, car rides, bones and destroying stuffed dog toys. She is house and crate trained. She does require a securely fenced yard since she is part Beagle follows her nose. Since she lived with her mom for 6 years as an only pet, she prefers to be the only pet (no dogs or cats). She unconditionally loves her humans and loves her daily walks. Liberty and Honor were born at the rescue on 5/22/25 to momma Daisy, who was pulled from the Fresno shelter pregnant. Honor is timid at first but quickly becomes your best buddy. He like to be where the people are and will get anxious and vocal when alone. He is good with other dogs but would do fine being an only dog. He is a cuddle bug with adults but has been afraid of children. Not sure how he does with cats. He needs all the things puppies need; potty training, leash walking and further socialization! They will probably get to be 30-35# when grown. Mom is 28#. Gypsy looks less because she’s short. The mom has a great personality.
