Story
❤️ Meet Ginger!Ginger is a sweet 30 Lbs 12-year-old Beagle mix who has been deeply loved by our family for the past 11 years. We adopted her from a shelter when she was just one year old, and she has been a wonderful and loyal companion ever since.Ginger is a very healthy senior dog. During her 11 years with us, she has had no medical conditions and has enjoyed a happy, active life.Ginger may be a senior, but she still has a playful spirit! Fetch is her favorite game, and she loves playing with her people. At the same time, she is very easygoing and spends much of her day happily relaxing in her bed.She only needs two walks a day and is perfectly content with a calm, comfortable lifestyle. She also lets you know when someone comes to the door, making her a great little watchdog. If you’re looking for a healthy, loyal, low-maintenance companion with lots of love left to give, please consider giving Ginger her next forever home. ❤️

Apply today! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SSAR/Dog Disclaimer: Please note that dogs in a rescue environment may behave differently than they would in a home setting. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Story
**Meet Jelly! 🩷** Jelly may be a Beagle mixed-breed pup, but there’s nothing mixed up about her personality—she is fun, confident, playful, and full of life! This girl has opinions, and she isn't afraid to share them. Jelly is definitely a little barky and bossy, especially when she’s trying to get her point across, but that big personality is part of what makes her so entertaining. She absolutely loves people and is happiest when she’s getting attention, playing, or following her favorite humans around. Jelly is energetic and playful, so she’ll thrive with a family ready to give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to be a puppy. Jelly is currently living with other dogs and kids and she is so sweet with the kids. They are able to pick her up, carry her and play all make believe and dress up with her. When it comes to other dogs, Jelly likes to be the one calling the shots! She can be a little bossy with her canine friends and may need dogs who don't mind her confident personality. With the right introductions and continued guidance, she can learn how to be a polite playmate. Jelly is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and make sure you’re never wondering what she’s thinking. **If you’re looking for a fun-loving pup with a BIG personality, Jelly might just be your girl!** 🐾💕 Watch her video here and fall in love: https://youtube.com/shorts/qJs4RV0Ba48?feature=share Questions? Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Coming this week to foster near Lacey, WA The 4 ‘M’ Puppies came to us from a neighbor down the street. An elderly man had these 4 pups dropped on his property and he didn’t know what to do with them. He approached a neighbor that he knew to do rescue but she, too, was having her own problems with too many dogs and she approached me. They were already 3 ½ mos old. (We gave them a DOB of 2/15/26.) We took them in and started shots, neutering and TLC. I see 2 puppies with one father and 2 puppies with another father. I did a phone scan for breed-types and came out with varying suggestions so as we list each one, I will list the differences. MERLIN-Possibly a mixture of Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, and Beagle. He seems to be the same parentage as MAJOR. He is currently 6 mos old and he weighs 10#. I expect him to be about 20# when grown. He is so much like his brother with his short legs of which the Beagle is more obvious. He is the smallest of the litter and has a touch of shyness. He loves to play with all the toys and loves the water tub. It is quite hot right now in Texas…so they all love the water. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you will have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
