Story
Using the word perfect to describe a dog feels subjective but this dog is truly perfect! There is not a person/ home/day that this dog wouldn’t make better. She is a little bit tender, a little bit thoughtful, and very, very easy to be immediately smitten with.. She doesn’t rush into the spotlight, but once you notice her, you won’t want to much more than look at her and gush over how perfect she is! Go watch her in action on YouTube- then come right back, to read more about her! https://youtu.be/NIijLO8vaC0 Bumble is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs 21 lbs. She appears to be a Beagle mix, though as always with rescue, breed and birthday are our best guess. What we can say for sure is that she is in that beautiful phase where she is young but already showing her personality, and it is such a sweet one! Let’s talk about her nature, because that is really where Bumble shines. She is a soft, observant girl in new environments but sweet and gentle meeting new people. She has moments where she wants to take it in versus rushing in, she may hang back at first, but she settles in with a little time and a gentle approach. Beyond that short moment, she is affectionate, cuddly, and happiest to be close to her people. Her foster shared that she’s wonderful with kids, she lives with a 9 and 15 year old, and has an easy, gentle presence in the home. She doesn’t bring chaos with her, just a calm, sweet energy that makes everything feel softer. With other dogs, Bumble is polite and unbothered. She has lived with multiple dogs of all sizes, from fellow beagles to Great Danes, and does beautifully. She doesn’t feel the need to jump into play right away and is happy to coexist peacefully, but she’s friendly and appropriate when interacting. She would do well with a playful dog or a more laid-back companion, depending on what her person is looking for. She is also cat friendly and currently living successfully with cats, showing respectful, easy-going behavior around them. Bumble is house trained and will walk to the door to let you know when she needs to go out. She rides nicely in the car and has basic leash skills but is undoubtedly a bit more interested in sniffaris vs. long haul walks. When a walk is in order she does well with guidance and consistency will help her learn that walks are for more than just her beagle nose.. She enjoys toys and chews and has great house manners. Her foster shared that she has been wonderfully trustworthy and hasn’t shown interest in getting into things she shouldn’t. If Bumble had to be summed up with three words it would be- gentle, steady, and devoted. She’s not here to overwhelm you with big, bold energy. She’s here to be your soft place at the end of the day. The kind of dog who settles in beside you, leans in just a little, and makes your world feel calmer without even trying. She will be looking forward to that moment as much as you every day. Bumble is ready and waiting but she won’t be waiting long so do not hesitate, if she has stole your heart the was she did our, apply today! Perfection like this exists and here is your chance to experience it! Apply today: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69b8543d8b3482d2d804c02f Questions? Story
Meet Tansy   Age: 9 months Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Beagle Mix Color: Brown / White Weight: 9.1 kg Height: 40 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story   Tansy was rescued during a severe cold wave. She had been living tied up outside a factory, exposed to the freezing weather. Thankfully she was rescued and brought to safety. Now she is safe, warm, and ready to find a loving forever home.   ‍‍ Personality with People   Tansy is a very affectionate and people-loving dog. She happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, rubbing against them and asking for attention.   She loves being petted and handled. Even people she meets for the first time can pick her up, and she often rolls over to show her belly.   She is friendly with both women and men and does well with children under 13 years old.   Socialization with Other Dogs   Tansy is friendly with other dogs and enjoys greeting them and inviting them to play, even if they are strangers.   She tends to get along best with dogs of a similar size. If a dog is very rough or has very high energy, she may choose to avoid them.   She is not confrontational and usually walks away if another dog is pushy. While she enjoys having dog friends, she is independent enough to do well as the only dog in the home.   Cats   Tansy has not been formally tested with cats. When she sees cats during walks, she watches them with curiosity but follows her handler when guided away. A cat test can be arranged if needed.   Energy Level   Tansy has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities and exploring during walks, but after exercise she settles down nicely and rests calmly.   Walks   She does not have extensive leash experience yet, but she follows people well and does not pull strongly on the leash. She especially enjoys sniffing and exploring during walks.   Other Notes   • No food guarding toward people or dogs • Rarely barks • No separation anxiety observed • Calm and quiet in a kennel/crate • Mostly prefers outdoor potty   Tansy is a sweet and affectionate young dog who truly loves people. She would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a friendly, loving, and easygoing dog. ***This dog is NOT in the direct care of Happy Tails Happy Homes rescue. Rather, his current owner needs to find him a new home at no fault of his own. If you are interested in Ben, please fill out an application here: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform *** Meet Ben 🐾 Ben is a sweet, lovable Beagle with a gentle soul who thrives in a calm, relaxed environment. At nearly four years old, he’s the perfect mix of adventure buddy and laid-back couch companion. Ben has low to medium energy—he loves his daily walks or hikes, but once he’s had his exercise, he’s more than happy to spend the rest of the day lounging around the house, especially if there’s a sunny spot to stretch out in. Ben is crate trained, house trained, and very well behaved in the home—he doesn’t chew or destroy things. He knows his basic commands and walks like a champ on leash. One of his favorite activities is splashing around in a creek, and he’ll happily play tug-of-war with a big stick during outdoor adventures. He’s also very food motivated and will do just about anything for a tasty treat. Ben forms strong bonds with his people and loves affection, cuddles, and lots of pets. Because he values a peaceful environment, he would do best in a home with a consistent routine and lower household traffic. Frequent visitors, loud voices, and high-energy children can make him uncomfortable, so patient introductions to new people are important. He is especially sensitive about being touched around his lower back and hindquarters. He does well with children as long as they are respectful of his space and aren't too active or hyper. Outside the home, Ben generally does well with people and tends to ignore other dogs, though he prefers they don’t approach him too closely while he’s on leash. Ben would thrive with an individual or family who enjoys daily walks, appreciates quiet companionship, and is willing to give him the patience and stability he needs to feel secure. In return, he’ll offer loyal companionship, plenty of snuggles, and a sweet presence that makes a house feel like home. If Ben sounds like he could be your next buddy, please fill out an application at: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform
