Meet the "F" babies! These little cuties are ready to find their forever homes! ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Stella is a parvo survivor!! This beautiful gal was surrendered to our rescue partner with parvo but has since beaten it and survived! She is the perfect example of why vaccines are so important - a simple and inexpensive vaccine could have prevented her from experiencing a horrible virus that could very well have taken her life. Now that she's recovered, Stella is ready to find her forever home! From her current foster: " Stella is the sweetest, smartest, and most loyal dog I have ever met in my entire life. She brings joy to everyday like I could've never imagined. I never thought it would be so easy to get attached to a pup so fast. I can say the same thing about her. It took her less than 1 hour to completely warm up to me and from that point on she could not let me out of her sight. Stella loves to play off leash. She enjoys the retrieval part of fetch but not the returning part (for sure something she can be taught). And of course she loves treats and toys. She is very food/treat motivated, and she loves to snuggle up close when it's time to be lazy (she wakes up when you wake up, I woke her up at 5am one morning and 11am the next, both times she was very compliant). She is for the most part potty trained, unless you wait until the last minute of her ability to hold her bladder. With that being said I have found that she gets anxious when trying to potty in busy or loud spaces, often resulting in a no result potty trip. If she is in a spacious, quiet, and calm area she will pee and poop instantly. She does extremely well with all kinds of people, all sizes of dogs, babies and cats. However she does not seem to like fast moving things. Cyclist's, skateboarders, or even people that are running almost always get aggressively barked at. She has a tendency to lightly bite/nip when she thinks it's time to play. Nothing painful but nonetheless, not a good habit. She is high energy but that is expected for a German of her age. She doesn't have a problem with her crate, she even sometimes will voluntarily hang out in there, however she does have a problem being alone. Her anxiety and verbal and physical responses sky rocket if you leave her in her crate unattended. Crate training I would say, is her biggest weakness. With all that said, Stella is genuinely the PERFECT dog. If my personal situation allowed I would be keeping her without a doubt. She's very shy at first, but once she warms up she will steal your heart. All she wants to do is cuddle and be next to you! She's also very smart and knows the command "sit already. we are working on leash training and potty training now."
