Story
ADOPTION FEE: $300 Meet Isabella! This lovely lady was originally adopted from us in 2016, but has developed the need to be in a single dog home. She is looking for a nice, calm retirement home where she can relax and be the only pet in the house. From her foster: She is a lovely dog that loves fetch with her squeaky Kong. She is kennel trained. She also has a security blanket that she loves to suck on. Bella is very protective of her home and will bark when the doorbell is rung or when a knock is at the door. She will need to be the ONLY pet in the household. I am unsure of how she reacts to younger children. She does not care to have visitors in our home. It will take time for Bella to warm up to new people and would very much benefit from more training and structure in the home. We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Petco in Fort Collins (2211 S College Ave. STE 200, Fort Collins, CO 80525)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Story
Lucas is an incredibly curious and joyful puppy who's ready to bring a whole lot of love and fun into his new home. He’s a confident, social little guy who adores people and is always excited to meet new dogs. Lucas isn’t shy—he embraces new experiences with enthusiasm and bounces back quickly, showing impressive confidence for such a young pup. This playful boy lives for fun! He loves a good game of fetch with a tennis ball or squeaky toy (just a few throws before he's ready for the next adventure), and he's always up for a game of tug. After a big play session, he’s happy to curl up for a well-earned nap. Lucas is also a smart cookie and a quick learner, especially when there are tasty treats involved. He’s already a great leash walker and is doing very well with his potty training—just a little proactive attention helps set him up for success. He may voice his opinion a bit when first going into the crate, but he settles down and sleeps soundly. Lucas recently wowed everyone at an adoption event, showing how gentle and well-mannered he is around children. With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to learn, Lucas is truly the whole package. If you’re looking for a loving, outgoing, and bright puppy to grow with your family, Lucas is the perfect match!

Meet Phoebe, a sweet and affectionate girl looking for a loving forever home! This adorable pup thrives on human attention and loves to be near her people. While she can be slightly wary around strangers at first, she quickly warms up when given a little patience, a few treats, or some gentle pets. At 4 years old, Phoebe is crate trained and knows basic commands, making her a well-behaved companion. She does experience anxiety, so she would thrive in a calm environment without other pets. Ideally, her new home would have older children who can respect her space, as unpredictable behaviors can make her feel anxious. Phoebe enjoys leisurely walks and is equally happy just hanging out on the couch, soaking up all the love and affection. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will appreciate your kindness and attention, Phoebe might be the perfect fit for you! Come meet her and see the wonderful bond you could share.   Phoebe is part of our Keep Them Home program.June 9, 2025, 5:09 pm
