Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Get to know Adler, a gentle soul with a tender heart. This sweet boy may take a little time to warm up to new human friends, but once he feels safe and understood, his affection shines through. Because he can be a bit sensitive, Adler is looking for a calm home with kids ages 14 and older who can respect his boundaries and give him the space he needs to feel comfortable. Adler gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a canine companion to show him the ropes and share in his adventures. With patience, kindness, and a dog friend by his side, Adler will blossom into the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be.

Story
Clover is a fun loving, high energy dog who loves dogs and people. She is a great running partner, good exploring buddy, and loves to have a job to do. She is 5 years old, and we adopted her as a puppy. She is incredibly smart and responds well to consistent training. We are looking for a new home for her because we can't provide her with the amount of exercise and attention she needs. We have two young children as well as two businesses we manage on a day to day basis, and it has become impossible for us to fit in the time to take care of her that she deserves. We are hoping that someone comes along to take her that has at least one of the following: a big need for an adventure buddy, a lot of open space for her to roam and explore, an active lifestyle that can prioritize time spent with her, or a couple other dogs that she can play with day to day. We love her and want the best for her, but don't feel like we are the ones that can provide that anymore.

Story
Travis Kelce might have the appearance of a big Rottweiler, but inside he's a big cuddly teddy bear! He was found as a stray in New Mexico, with wounds on his back leg likely from a dog fight. He was treated at the vet there and has since been doing very well. He gets along great with other dogs, and is on the submissive side. He enjoys sniffing everything he can get his nose on, and he loves treats. He is still skinny from living life as a stray, and will need to gain a few pounds. He is kennel-trained and quiet, and walks well on a leash. He is mostly house-trained but his sniffing/marking behavior will need to be corrected quickly so he knows not to continue. Travis is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Story
Coffee is a beautiful rottweiler who was at risk of getting shot after being dumped on a rural property. She was heartworm positive but has been treated for it. She has stubby tail. She has been good with male and female dogs medium to large but has not been around small dogs or cats. She is very very friendly with people. She walks well on the leash. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) All dogs/cats can be adopted in all locations below, regardless of where they are posted. Story
**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days.  Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly.  Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs.  When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program.  One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training.  When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training.  Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs.  To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont.  It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family.  We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.   If you are inerested in adopting Mollie please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1403699##

Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 6th. Instead, we will offer private appointments to approved applicants December 1-7.* Nellie is a small but mighty little pup who isn't afraid to jump into the action by running or wrestling with the big dogs. She is doing well with potty training and kennel training and sleeps through the night. Nellie would benefit from an older, playful dog in the home, but would also excel as your one-and-only pup! Nellie enjoys: •Playing chase with a tennis ball •Tugging •Sitting for treats •Wrestling Nellie is working on: •Potty training •Enjoying kennel breaks •Being big enough to jump on the couch on the first try To add this sweet and adventurous lady into your home, apply today! Nellie is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Nellie is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Rio is the sweetest boy! He's a 5 month old mixed breed (guessing boxer/pitbull) from Southern New Mexico, where he was abandoned, left tied to the shelter fence with an electrical cord overnight. He loves other dogs and people, and is on the submissive side. He is very good in his kennel and does not potty in there, and is good at walking on leash, but can get slightly nervous of loud noises or people coming at him quickly from above. He is mostly house trained. Rio loves toys and snacks (big fan of pup cups) and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
