Nelly has been with us for a few months but unfortunately she doesn't get along with one of our dogs. She does do well with our male German Shepard. Nelly is 4 years old, housetrained, and loves people. She loves treats and is very treat driven. Nelly needs a fenced in yard to run around and would work well for someone that would like a watch dog.

Story
She loves any food she can get ahold of, but one of her absolute favorite things is popcorn. She needs her own blanket. It's a comfort for her. She will rip it to Swiss cheese, so she will need a new one every few months. As long as she has her own blanket she shouldn't mess with any others. The way she knows it's her blanket is you need to introduce it to her and play with it with her until she has ripped it a couple of times. She's very smart and she needs a lot of mental stimulation. She loves playing hide and seek with toys or treat or even with people. She loves to hug! This is something she taught herself years ago. If she wants a hug, you can get down to her level and she'll wrap her front paws around you and hold.
