Story
Meet Dobby ❤️ Dobby is a sweet, affectionate shepherd mix, about 2 to 3 years old. She is a loving Velcro dog who enjoys being close to people and has done well around other animals. Dobby wandered into our backyard severely underweight and dehydrated. We cared for her, and despite several neighborhood Facebook posts, no owner came forward. She got her name after stealing a sock, carrying it outside, and sleeping with it instead of chewing it. Since then, Dobby has gained about 30 pounds and is doing very well. She is house trained and vaccinated. She is heartworm positive and finishing slow kill treatment. Her vet recommended waiting to spay her until treatment is complete, so she is not currently spayed. Dobby recently stayed with a Rover sitter and did very well around other animals. She hasn’t been tested with cats. We have two senior dogs, and our senior pit has been bullying Dobby. She would be happier in a loving home where she can be safe and have the attention she deserves.

Name: LunaBreed: German Shepherd Sex/Age/Weight: Female/estimated DOB 07-2022/69 lbsVetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventives House trained/Crate trained: Yes/YesDogs/Cats/Children: Luna is great with people and children over 6. She is very loving. She was raised with her sister and 3 other dogs in the household. Luna has not been observed around cats but can be cat tested upon request. My History: On July 3rd, 2026, I was surrendered to the vet's office with my sister to be euthanized because my "owner", who had us since we were eight weeks old, decided that he was going to move and not take us with him. The vet asked for help, and this lady saved us. Unfortunately, we've been in boarding since July 3rd because we are still searching for a foster or adopter. Ideal Family/Home: Someone who is experienced with this breed, and can teach and maintain basic obedience. Energy Level: Moderately high – Olive is a typical teenage pup. She absolutely needs space to run and play in. She would love a fur brother or sister. Before FAR/My History: I came up on my foster mom and dad one evening at their house. They had a lot of dogs and I was looking for some friends. I absolutely love to run and play.Working on: We are working on walking on a leash and using a prong collar confidently and not jump. She knows sit, stay.Things I like: Playing with any sort of toys! She seems to just love and want to be around people all the time!Ideal Family/Home: Olive is a moderately energetic and playful girl so she would do great with an active family with a fenced yard who understands this and is willing to work with her and give her the time she needs to run and play as well as training to help her be her best self.
