Hi, I’m Jaxx 💙 I’m almost 7 years old, and if I had to pick one word to describe myself, it would be loyal. I listen well, I love deeply, and I’ll never turn down a good game of fetch. In fact, my favorite thing in the whole world is my ball—I’ll happily chase it for as long as you’ll throw it, and then I’ll carry it proudly in my mouth like it’s my baby. Life hasn’t always been easy for me. I was rescued once already, and now, because of circumstances beyond my control, I’m searching for a forever home again. My family is heartbroken—they call me part of their family, but housing changes mean I can’t stay with them. They just want me to be safe, happy, and loved. Here’s what you should know about me: 🐾 I adore kids of all ages—I’ve grown up alongside them and I’m gentle and patient. 🐾 I prefer women and children, but I can warm up to men with time and kindness. 🐾 I’m well-behaved, crate trained, and sleep peacefully on my dog bed. 🐾 I’m leash-trained (though sometimes I get excited and pull a little). 🐾 I love people—neighbors say I’m wonderfully behaved. If I could design the perfect day, it would be running in an open field, chasing my ball, and getting a few tasty treats before curling up for cuddles with my family. I’m not looking for much—just someone who will love me, play ball with me, and promise I won’t ever have to lose my home again. Could that someone be you?

After leaving the shelter, this sweet boy has completely opened up — and wow, what a transformation. He’s affectionate, eager to bond, and already showing what an incredible companion he can be. Loki is a male dog friendly and has been nothing but polite and sweet with the ladies. He hasn’t been tested with male dogs yet, but we’ll update as we learn more. For now, he’s just enjoying feeling safe, loved, and part of a routine again. He’s doing really well with crate training, settling in beautifully and learning the ropes quickly. At around 18 months old, he’s the perfect mix of young, goofy energy and a heart ready to attach to “his” people. Everyone who meets him falls in love — he’s just that kind of dog. Story
Manny was born July 17, 2024. We adopted him the end of September 2024. He is a pure breed German Shepherd, current on all vaccines and currently still intact. Manny lives with 6 kids, two dogs and three cats. He believes he is a small dog I think, he was raised with two little dogs who still intimidate him even though they are a fraction of his size now. I believe he has fear aggression and lacks confidence. I am not an experienced dog trainer and with 6 kids I never will be. I cannot take him anywhere without a muzzle and we cannot have anyone to our home without locking him up. This brakes my heart. He is so kind, and goofy with us, but the minute he sees a stranger instant fear, retreat but also real aggression. He needs someone who can help him build confidence, teach him to not be afraid, that people just want to play with him. He is incredibly smart and still young so there is hope! If I had the time and the money I would do it, I just do not. Someone please help Manny.
