Story
Meet Lonny – Your Adventure Buddy (and Cuddle Champion)! Looking for a loyal companion who’s always up for an outdoor adventure and down for cozy snuggles? Meet Lonny – a mature, well-mannered pup with a gentle soul, a heart full of love, and a nubby tail that never stops wagging! Lonny is past his teenage phase and comes with a calm, confident energy that makes him a joy to be around. He’s sweet, respectful, and makes fast friends with people and other dogs alike. He’s done wonderfully in doggy playgroups here at the Ranch and would likely thrive in a home with other canine companions. He’s an outdoorsy guy who loves walks, hikes, and especially swimming—but he’s just as happy to curl up next to you for some serious cuddle time. And trust us, Lonny is the ultimate cuddle partner. He forms strong bonds with his people and always wants to be close. When he’s in the mood for attention (which is often!), he shows off his signature move: flopping one shoulder to the ground with his hind end in the air, nubby tail wagging, waiting patiently for some well-deserved butt scritches. Lonny already knows his basic commands like "Sit" and "Wait", walks beautifully on leash, and—bonus—he doesn’t hop fences. If you’re looking for a mature, affectionate, adventure-ready dog who’s just as happy on the trail as he is on the couch, Lonny is your guy. Call the Ranch today to schedule your meet-and-snuggle with Lonny! Read Lonny's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/lonny/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Marie – The Sweetest Goofball You'll Ever Meet! If you're looking for a gentle soul with a dash of goofiness, Marie is your girl! She’s the ultimate balance of calm and playful. Her way of saying "hello" involves full-body wiggles, a giant smile, and the most adorable, slappy paws you'll ever see. Don't worry – she’s not trying to knock anyone over; she's just super excited to greet you and show you her happy, wiggly self! Marie is the epitome of great leash manners. She’ll happily stay right by your side during walks, soaking up all the love and attention she can. Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a playful session in the yard, she’s game for whatever makes you happy! She’s a great fit for a home with other dogs, and she’ll gladly wrestle or hang out with them. While she’s not super high-energy, she’s still a young, playful pup who needs her exercise to stay happy and healthy. Marie would be a fantastic fit for a senior home (as long as there's a yard for her to enjoy), and she’d especially love a doggy buddy to share her days with. She’s laid-back but still has that fun, youthful energy, making her the best of both worlds! Come meet Marie today – she’s waiting to wiggle her way into your heart! Story
Kooper is a 3 year old Rottweiler Mix. He has been a blessing in our lives from the moment he joined our family at 3 weeks old. He is amazing with kids, other dogs, and cats. He is very energetic and loves walk time! He is also a big cuddle bug. Unfortunately due to our living situations, we had to move into a cheaper place, and our landlord does not except animals. We were thinking about making him an emotional support animal but due to the downsizing of our new apartment, we wont even have a backyard for him to run around in. We made the decision to hopefully give him a new home due to our circumstances and would highly consider anybody interested in taking Kooper in and loving him the way we do. Thank you for reading and we hope to hear from you soon! Thank you so much! ❤️
