Story
Luna – Returned After Almost Half a Year
Will you be my Valentine?I spent almost half a year in a home before being returned when circumstances changed. It was confusing, but I haven’t lost my loving nature or my hope. I’m calm, affectionate, and enjoy being part of a routine. I’m ready for a second chance and a family who understands that love grows stronger with commitment.
Luna is a sweet, affectionate puppy who is coming back to Lucky Paws Rescue through no fault of her own. She is being returned because her current home found it difficult to manage normal puppy behavior alongside very small children. Before unsafe situations or bad habits could develop, the decision was made to return Luna so she can be set up for long-term success.
Luna is not a “bad dog.” She is simply a puppy — curious, busy, learning, and full of energy.
She loves people, enjoys cuddling, and shows a gentle, affectionate nature. Like all puppies, Luna needs structure, consistency, training, and time. She is still learning appropriate behaviors and will thrive in a home that understands the commitment required during the puppy stage.
Luna would do best in a home that:
has time for puppy training and daily engagement
understands normal puppy behaviors (chewing, mouthing, learning boundaries)
can provide structure and supervision
may be better suited for older children rather than toddlers
Luna has a wonderful foundation and a loving personality. With the right home, she will grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion.
If you’re ready for the joy — and responsibility — of raising a puppy, Luna may be a great fit for your family.
