Story
$50 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! Jazzy spent several months at the Humane Society before coming to our rescue. She was found in the street in rough shape, like she had to fend for herself for quite some time. It’s obvious she was bred multiple times, then probably dumped. Jazzy is friendly to everyone and likes to be close to her humans. She’d love to be the center of attention by being the only dog, but she will tolerate fur siblings. She’s up for any new adventure or laying around the house. Sometimes I catch her just hanging out outside in the cold by choice. This sweet girl is ready to find a family of her own that will give frequent scratches and cuddles. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway. Story
Imani (E-Mon-E) was left by a river 2 summers ago and is the first rescue we took in. She was already about 4 when we got her and takes a little time to warm up, she is getting more trusting of people but she has her shy qualities. Ince she knows you she loves you, will ask for belly rubs, is a wonderful ballerina, she likes running, a yard or active family would be good. She gets along well with boy dogs, is a little iffy around other females. She is very sweet, she is almost 6 but still has a lot of energy and years to go.

Story
Daisy is an 8-9 y/o German Shepherd. I adopted her from the Yakima Humane Society about 4 years ago as a buddy for my first shepherd, Archer, who recently passed. I have had some life changes recently. My job requires me to work 48+hr shifts. My brother was able to watch the dogs while I was at work is moving and I don't have anyone local that can take care of her long term. Daisy is very much a velcro dog. She loves to play fetch, but also lazy days on the couch. She isn't crazy about other dogs but can be introduced and eventually warm up to other dogs. She would ideally do best in a single pet household. She does not like cats and small animals and will give chase. Daisy does well with children, both older and younger. Daisy has had no medical issues while I have had her.
