Story
I got Khan from a private person in a run down trailer park. I feel I rescued him from undesirable conditions. I've had Khan for 3 months now. He is house broken and knows the basic commands. He is a loving cuddling pup. The place where we live is being sold and I'll have to vacate. I hope that Khan can find a active loving family with room to run.

Story
Meet Tuck, an almost eight year old German Shepherd Mix. Tuck was picked up as a stray in July of 2023 before being brought to us. We can't believe this mature gentleman has been with us for this long! Tuck is a great size at 66 pounds and is stocky rather than tall so he looks more like a medium sized dog. He walks very well on the leash with minimal pulling and is an all around great boy who enjoys human interaction. Tuck is all about the treats! He loves anything food related and with eagerly sit for them. We think he is a pretty easy-going guy although he can be dominant with other dogs so if you have another dog in the household a meet and greet should happen prior to adoption. Tuck would be very happy as an only dog and doesn't need canine a companion, so if you are a one-dog household he thinks that sounds great. Tuck is a mellow dude who still enjoys his walks but doesn't have all that puppy energy, we think that is pretty great. He would make a great companion and we hope he finds his home soon. Tuck went to the SunDome for the March Muttness event and did amazing! He walked with both the staff and the public and loved the attention. Tuck had no issue being petted or approached by the crowd while kenneled and loved getting treats. He watched all the action from his kennel and was a big fan of all the attention. Story
Meet Quincey, a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix.Quincey is a confident, energetic and very sweet loving boy. He loves getting scratches and cuddles so much that he will bark for more if you stop. He loves to be out in the park and seems used to a more outdoor lifestyle. Quincey would love a home with a securely fenced in yard where he can play fetch with his new owner. Quincey does pull on his leash in his excitement but he is getting better about that. He may do best in a home with no small children at this time until he gets some focused training as he tends to jump up when overly excited. This pet is available for adoption on 8/5/23 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
