Story
Animal Profile: Bodhi is an estimated 2-year-old, 75-pound Doberman Shepherd or possibly Beauceron mix. This guy is full of spunk and loves to play. Sadly, Bodhi found himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter simply because there wasn’t enough space.  Foster Update: Bodhi is a smart, biddable, confident and fun dog. He loves to play -- fetch, tug, wrestling, doesn't matter -- and work. He truly enjoys obedience training, and structured play is a great way to fill his cup. He is fully crate trained and house-trained and has great dog social skills with both large and small dogs. He has not been evaluated with cats and we would require cat testing prior to placement.  Bodhi is a guardian breed mix and absolutely needs a knowledgeable owner who can provide him leadership and structure, as well as enforce boundaries. Without this relationship dynamic, Bodhi is pushy with his people, and territorial to newcomers. WIth the right relationship dynamic, Bodhi is biddable with his person and accepting of new people. Bodhi will do best with an intentional owner who wants to do stuff with him (versus as a hang around the house, kind of pet) although Bodhi does absolutely have a chill setting and is not hyperactive in the home.  He runs well on a leash and goes on regular 3-mile runs with a volunteer. He knows sit, down -- with implied stays -- recalls with distractions, and walks nicely on leash. He is absolutely a lot of dog and a "dog person" will truly appreciate him. He would be too much for a first time or inexperienced dog owner.  Adopter Profile: Single family residence required No apartments or condos Fenced yard preferred (not required) Other dogs OK but not required Cats considered with evaluation Large breed experience required Training experience or commitment to learn required Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, recent exam with a veterinarian, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Stanislaus shelter in California, arriving to foster care in Seattle on 11/13 via START. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.June 10, 2026, 4:59 am

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾⚡ Meet Kaiser — Big Energy, Bigger Heart, Certified Adventure Buddy ⚡🐾 Kaiser may look like he runs a biker gang, but don’t be fooled, he's just like the bun he's named after...hard on the outside but soft on the inside!! — this 41-lb pup in a tough-dog wrapper is all about fun, play, and good vibes. Born on 3/28/25, Kaiser is a young, athletic guy with enthusiasm for life turned up to maximum volume. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventative, so his resume is just as solid as his jawline. Kaiser gets along with other dogs and loves to play — sometimes a little too enthusiastically — so he’d do best with dog friends who enjoy a good wrestling match and don’t mind his “all in” play style. 🐶 Kaiser’s Greatest Hits: ⚡ 41 lbs of high-octane fun ⚡ Very playful, very energetic, very entertaining ⚡ Gets along with all dogs (plays a bit rough — referee whistles not included) ⚡ Barks at cats but has had no contact with them ⚡ Walks into a room looking intimidating… leaves with everyone laughing ⚡ Absolute marshmallow on the inside Kaiser is dreaming of an active, outdoorsy family who wants a true adventure buddy. Hiking? He’s lacing up his imaginary boots. Exploring trails? He’s already in the lead. Backyard zoomies? Consider it handled. He thrives on movement, stimulation, and being included in the action. Despite his bold looks and boundless energy, Kaiser is a sweetheart who just wants to belong. He’s eager, playful, and full of potential — the kind of dog who will keep you laughing, moving, and never bored. If you’re looking for a hiking pawtner, a playful goof, and a dog who looks tough but cuddles like a pro… Kaiser is ready to roll. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Kaiser power up your life! 🐾💥

Story
Born in June 2020, Dexter suffered a severe break in his leg and had to spend much of his youth on restricted activity so it would heal. He is fully healthy now, and his leg made a full recovery. Dex is great on leash, loves his walks, and bonds strongly with his humans. In typical GSD fashion, he likes to have something to do, so having a home with people who are around and will include him in adventures and outings is preferred. He is full of energy and has lots of love to give. Dexter has gone through great training, he is easy to walk on leash, he listens well, and enjoys learning new behaviors and games through training. He especially loves playing with his toys. His favorite playtime activities are fetch and tug and showing off his toys by playing on his own. Dexter benefits from longs walks and hikes where he can sniff and explore. Dexter’s favorite past time is chilling on his bed with a Kong or bully stick. A securely fenced yard, no kids or cats is required for Dexter’s home. Story
Meet Brody! This German shepherd was born around 2019 and is sweet as can be. He loves to play ball and is quite friendly with people. His previous owners allowed him to roam, and he got in trouble after eating a neighbor's chickens, so he requires a home outside of Clallam County. Brody's ideal home will have great fencing and no farm animals. He does well with his son that came to WAG with him, but we have not seen him interact with other dogs or cats. Brody is friendly with people, but due to his size, might be best for kids at least 5 years old.   Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
Meet Max! This German shepherd mix was born in 2022 and has already had a little too much life experience. His previous owners allowed him to roam, which resulted in him going after a neighbor's chickens and getting shot. He has recovered well from his surgeries, but he is now required to find a home outside of Clallam County. Max's ideal home will have great fencing and no farm animals. He does well with his father that came to WAG with him, but we have not seen him interact with other dogs or cats. Max is friendly with people, but due to his size, might be best for kids at least 8 years old.
