Meet Daffodil! Daffodil’s story began on the streets of Antioch, where she was found as a stray, heavily matted and in need of some serious TLC. But once she was cleaned up and shown a little love, her true personality bloomed — and she has been shining ever since. Just like her name, Daffodil is bright, sweet, and impossible not to adore. She loves to play and proudly carries her favorite toy everywhere she goes. She may nudge you for attention now and then, but that’s only because she has so much love to give. Daffodil is:• Crate trained• Potty trained• Well-behaved and eager to please• Smart and already knows “paw,” “sit,” “stay,” “crate,” and even “catch!”• Well-socialized and does great with her foster sibling Daffodil has proven she’s resilient, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start. She’s looking for a forever home where she can keep learning new tricks, playing with her toys, and soaking up all the love she deserves. Americano is the bold little spark that keeps things interesting. This sweet girl has the softest golden coat and the most mesmerizing eyes — thoughtful, observant, and always taking in the world around her. Americano is curious and wonderfully brave. She’s the first to investigate a new toy, the first to trot over and see what that sound was, and the first to proudly bring you a ball or rope like she just discovered buried treasure. She is so playful and comes running to you when she hears you whistle. There’s something so special about a puppy who wants to share her fun with you. She’s playful without being wild, confident without being pushy, and smart in that quiet, watchful way that makes you realize she’s already figuring things out. Story
According to Mocha's foster family, legend has it that he was born from a snowstorm, but as soon as he stepped out into the sunlight, he walked right into the mud and slush, thus leaving him with a earthy-cocoa-colored inspired kind of fluffy coat. He has the absolute BEST puppy antics and has most recently started terrorizing his stuffies and empty paper towel tubes with his fierce zoomies, dazzling all who watch his uncoordinated spins and hops. Sure to overturn the nearest water bowl and then (sometimes!) cry about, Mocha is full of personality and tippy-tappy paw thumps that far exceeds his tiny stature. His fluffy coat will require maintenance; his foster family is already brushing him daily to prevent mats and tangles from forming.   His foster family reports: "It's quite accurate to describe him as a toe-biter since he is too small to reach our ankles!" Mocha is learning to nibble on his toys (and not toes) and is pretty consistent about using the puppy pad in his playpen. He is using a puppy pad due to the inclement weather and because he is very small and low to ground, it's incredibly hard to tell if he's actually going potty or not. He will cry if he has been without attention for too long or it's time for his next meal, though generally settles down in his playpen for quiet time and overnight. His family should be prepared to be committed and show him the ropes of being a pet--everything from potty training, what to chew and not to chew, and basic obedience. He's really enthusiastic about play, chase, and finding treats and he's shaping up to be quite the smart pup!    All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit.
