Story
Tink is an 8-year-old miniature poodle that we adopted when she was one year old. She loves being around her family, and enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, rolling her ball off of every ledge imaginable, and sleeping in the sun. Finding a nice, quiet sun patch might be her favorite thing to do! Most of the time, Tink is calm and playful; however, she is a reactive dog and does have a bite history. About one year after adoption, she bit me as I was leaning in to kiss her, but did not realize she had a treat near her. This did cause bleeding, but the bite was superficial. Recently, she nipped at our two week old baby when she was crying. This did not leave a mark, and was a 'corrective nip'. We have spoken with three behavioralists, and all seem to think this behavior can be corrected. Tink is seeking a loving and quiet home where she is the only pet, and a home that is not too active, as her favorite thing to do is snuggle with her family while eating popcorn and watching tv

Story
Talbina is a sweet senior poodle who is just looking for her forever home. Briefly dispirited by the loss of her former home and family, tiny Talbina (well, she’s about 20 pounds so maybe more medium Talbina) took it hard when she arrived at the shelter but has begun to blossom since she’s been in foster. Talbina is outgoing, going from volunteer to volunteer at Muttville looking for pets and cuddles, and maybe a treat or two, but she also gets along famously with the other mutts. Talbina really thrives in a cozy, cottagecore setting, so she’s willing to turn your house into a home if you’ll just take a chance on her. Can you give this little lady the home for the holidays that she clearly deserves? Here's some notes from her foster: Talbina is a little lady who does her own thing. Talbina is very food motivated and due to her vision, she is better with receiving treats with an open palm or putting them on the ground and pointing at it. She enjoys three meals a day with a lick mat snack. She usually settles on a soft cozy blanket. She loves warm laundry out of the dryer. She is ok with stairs and does better going up stairs than going down. She tends to do a big flying leap off the bed, couch, and the last 2 stairs. We have tried to show her some stairs to our couch and bed but she hasn't mastered them yet. She can go on walks but she is also ok with exploring in the yard. She is great with doing her business outside in a grassy area and when she’s done she will make her way to the door to go inside. She likes to snuggle but it has to be on her terms. She runs hot at night and she will move around to get comfortable. She’s a lady who knows what she wants.

Story
If you’re looking for a little poodle with a big personality, Outback is your guy. Thus spunky sweetheart is always ready for fun and a few well-earned treats. He’s charming, full of character, and loves getting pets almost as much as he loves being part of the action. Outback enjoys the company of other dogs and brings a cheerful energy wherever he goes. Whether it’s a walk in the park or a cozy night in, he’s up for any adventure that ends with cuddles. With his sweet nature and adventurous spirit, Outback is the perfect partner for anyone who loves a little sparkle in their day. Here's some notes from his foster: Outback has blossomed quickly!! He is the best boy and I know he's going to make his forever family so happy. A few observations: Potty Habits: He's made ZERO accidents so far. I've noticed that he holds his business until I take him on his walks. He walks so proudly with his head held high and has a real spring in his step for a senior pup! Jumping Habits He is very clever and agile so he has no issues jumping up and down on things (i.e. sofa, bed) he just needs a soft landing space to jump down to so he doesn't slip. Temperament: He is SO sweet. Super quiet, only barks at his reflection in the mirror & when I am prepping his meals. He sleeps through the night no problem on the foot of my bed and has no issues being left alone for a couple of hours when I work out or pop into the grocery store. I think he may have been someone's pet at some point because he knows how to sit, knows "no" and comes when I call him. He also doesn't beg / doesn't food guard. His Daily Routine: He wakes up slowly (truly you can have your morning coffee and some time to yourself as he very slowly wakes up for the day!) and then he licks up his little dental treat from his woof puzzle ball. About 30 mins later I give him breakfast (around 8:30 am). Then he goes for his morning walk (a few laps around the block) and then settles in with me while I finish up some work -- he'll snooze all day if he can! Outback is very good on a leash! He walks without pulling/with enough slack and doesn't react to any dogs or anything. He ran errands with me today and was super quiet and well behaved everywhere I went. I approach him slowly and from behind, but he doesn't mind being held and will fall asleep in your arms! Like any senior dog he needs his space & doesn't want to be startled. He sleeps a lot and would do well in a quiet home.
