Story
Meet  Dorian Phoenix, a one-year-old sweetheart, who is ready to find his forever flock! At a compact 16 pounds, Dorian is the ultimate "best of both worlds" companion: he has the playful spirit of a puppy and the gentle, well-behaved manners of a seasoned pro. Dorian is a minimal-to-non-shedding pup, perfect for those looking for a low-mess best friend. He is already neutered, crate trained, and potty trained, making his transition into your home as smooth as possible.   What Makes Dorian Special: A True Socialite: Dorian loves everyone he meets. He currently lives in a foster home where he spends his days playing with other dogs. Because he is so social, he would thrive in a home with another canine sibling to romp around with. Gentle & Well-Mannered:Despite his puppy energy, Dorian is remarkably well-behaved. He is known for his "super sweet" temperament and his love for deep snuggles. The Perfect Shadow: Dorian is a true companion dog. He will do best in a household where someone is home frequently to provide the attention and affection he craves. Whether he’s playing tag with another dog or curling up in your lap for a nap, Dorian Phoenix is a loyal, gentle soul who just wants to be part of the family. If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful, and well-adjusted addition to your pack, Dorian is waiting for you!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Judd Nelson! Your Loyal, Curly-Haired Companion!  Judd Nelson is an adorable, 11-pound, Poodle mix with a big heart and a great need for a special home. At just under eight years old, he is looking for a patient and loving family to help him settle into his golden years. Personality Highlights: Gender Preference: Judd Nelson is a total sweetheart who loves to stick to a female companion like glue! While he is fine with men, he forms a very strong bond with the women in his life. Good with Dogs: He gets along well with other dogs.Cat Potential: We believe he would do well with cats.  A Note on Temperament & Children Judd Nelson can be temperamental, which means he needs a home where his boundaries are respected. For this reason, we recommend a home with older children only (teenagers/mature children) or an adult-only household.  Housetraining & Training Needs Judd Nelson is a work in progress and needs continued assistance with house training. Marking: He was recently neutered this past Tuesday, which should significantly help with the marking he exhibited (mostly outdoors) prior to surgery. (He is currently wearing a belly band as he recovers). Nighttime Success: Great news—he makes it through the night without needing to potty! Recommendation: A consistent schedule of taking him outside every 2 to 3 hours is essential to complete his house training.  Ready for a loving family! If you're a patient, female-led household, looking for a fierc ely loyal, curly-haired friend to adore you, Judd Nelson might be the perfect fit! Story
Meet Little Cowboy This little guy had us wrapped around his paw within the first 15 minutes! Little Cowboy is a young miniature poodle who was surrendered to Ruff Dog, and he is truly the ideal lap-dog. He’s quiet, affectionate, and absolutely loves to cuddle. We believe Little Cowboy may already be housetrained. Shortly after his arrival, he’s been going outside with his fosters'crew and has had no accidents. Little Cowboy was underfed before coming to us (though not as thin as some of the others), so he does best being fed separately or with supervision at mealtimes to ensure he gets his fair share. Sweet, gentle, and people-oriented — Little Cowboy is ready to be someone’s shadow and snuggle buddy. Could you be the family he is waiting on? Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2641534##
