Story
Devi is a stunning 3-5 year old Belgian Malinois. Devi has some basic obedience, walks well on a leash, has good food and ball drive, is crate trained, vaccinated, spayed and LOVES PEOPLE! She wants to say hi to all the new people, especially if they have treats for her or can be convinced to play fetch with her. We have not had a chance to test her with children yet. Miss Devi is a medium energy adventure buddy. She wants to be included in everything you do and everywhere you go. Devi is one of the sweetest, cuddliest girls out there and would LOVE to meet you! Devi would prefer to be the only doggo in the home as she is dog selective and she is *not* a fan of little critters (including small dogs and cats).

Axel (D-5801) is a 2+ year old Shepherd who is once again looking for his forever home — and this time, we’re being extra honest so he lands exactly where he belongs. Axel was adopted and returned after it became clear that small children aren’t his thing. He’s not a “jump right into your arms” dog — Axel is more of a slow-burn friendship kind of guy. Think introvert, not party animal. ✨ What we’ve learned about Axel: • Chill, laid-back, and very polite once he knows you • Good with other dogs • Can be good with cats • Leash trained and crate trained • Knows sit, down, paw, and kennel • Smart and capable — just selective with his trust Axel’s personality in a nutshell: Axel takes longer than most to warm up, but when he does, you’ll see his soft, vulnerable side — and it’s worth the wait! He’s been coming out of his shell more every day and showing us who he really is under that cautious exterior. Axel’s ideal home: • Adults only or older teens • Calm, patient humans who let dogs move at their own pace • Someone who understands that not all dogs want to be best friends on Day One Axel isn’t broken, stubborn, or “difficult” — he’s just a thoughtful dog who wants to feel safe before he commits. THIS DOG IS AVAILABLE FOR OUR **FOREVER FOSTER PROGRAM** PLEASE REACH OUT FOR INFO!! Aleah is a very good girl, but a she is still very puppy-like and can be mouthy. She knows sit, down, focus and place and walks well on a leash. She’s crate trained and potty trained! Aleah is a tripod but it doesn’t slow her down at all! Aleah is a typical German Shepherd. She loves all people, but doesn’t understand her size, so probably no young kids. She does have prey-drive, but she has low stamina and can’t bank corners 🤣 Aleah is goofy and playful but needs an adopter who will set clear and consistent rules and boundaries with her. When it comes to needing to take things from her, we always offer her a trade, and she LOVES to trade. Aleah has grown up a lot over the years and absolutely loves chilling on the couch or outside, just watching the world go by. She does enjoy playing with our large, male dog-testing dog, but she does not share well with other dogs- not food or toys . We are recommending a home with no other dogs. Aleah will absolutely light up your life and you won’t be sorry to bring her into your home ❤️
