Story
Meet Cricket – a gentle, graceful girl with a heart as sweet as her name! This tall and lean pup is likely a Shepherd mix with a dash of Greyhound or something equally elegant. At 45 pounds, Cricket is a lovely companion who enjoys the company of other polite, easygoing dogs and is learning all about the joys of home life.
Cricket can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she absolutely blossoms—offering the sweetest hugs and soaking up affection like a pro. She’s currently working on potty training and gaining confidence each day in her foster home. She would thrive with a patient, understanding family willing to continue her training and help her build trust at her own pace. Older children who can respect her space will be the best match for her gentle nature.
Cricket was dumped at a vet's office as a young pup, but her future is already looking brighter. She was born on February 13, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. Now she’s ready to find her forever family who will show her what love truly means.
All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
