Story
Willow is the sweetest cuddle bug. We first adopted her from the shelter almost four years ago and brought her into a home with 2 older kids and 2 other senior male dogs. She loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses. She has high anxiety, is afraid of water (from a hose) and being crated. She has never bitten a soul but is very mouthy and will put her mouth on hands when you walk by. Shes just so bossy when she herds people! She does not pull on a leash when you walk her but she zig zags in different directions. She needs someone patient and consistent to teach her. UTD on all vaccines and care and is in perfect health. Because she was homeless for so long, her lower canine teeth are a little worn down. Shes a sweet soul, but we are moving and I am unable to train her anxious behavior.

Story
Meet Doc! Doc is the little “thinker” of the 7 Dwarves litter — always looking like he’s studying his surroundings before deciding it’s time for fun. He enjoys exploring, playing with toys, and trotting along like he’s supervising the day’s activities. He and his littermates were rescued from a rural property where they were found starving with their mom after the owner went to jail, and Doc is now soaking up the puppy life he deserved from the start. His mom is a German Shepherd and dad is unknown, and Doc is fostered with his brother, forming a perfect pair: the “professor” and the “nap specialist.” Doc stays close to his people, enjoys snuggles, and likes to be in the middle of whatever is happening, as if he’s keeping track of everything. He brings a fun, attentive energy that feels very fitting for a pup named Doc. Like all young puppies, Doc will need continued training, consistency, patience, and socialization as he grows. With direction and structure, he’ll channel all that curious, “in-charge” energy into becoming a wonderful companion. Doc was born in October 2025 and is fostered in Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. Story
Meet Cricket – a gentle, graceful girl with a heart as sweet as her name! This tall and lean pup is likely a Shepherd mix with a dash of Greyhound or something equally elegant. At 45 pounds, Cricket is a lovely companion who enjoys the company of other polite, easygoing dogs and is learning all about the joys of home life. Cricket can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she absolutely blossoms—offering the sweetest hugs and soaking up affection like a pro. She’s currently working on potty training and gaining confidence each day in her foster home. She would thrive with a patient, understanding family willing to continue her training and help her build trust at her own pace. Older children who can respect her space will be the best match for her gentle nature. Cricket was dumped at a vet's office as a young pup, but her future is already looking brighter. She was born on February 13, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. Now she’s ready to find her forever family who will show her what love truly means. Meet Willow! Willow is A 12-Year-Old, 3-Footed German Shepherd Looking for Her Retirement Home. This sweet senior girl was surrendered to a local shelter alongside her 14-year-old sister. Heartbreakingly, her sister was adopted, and Willow was left behind. That's when we saw Willow was in need of some extra tender loving care and a place to go. Despite her rough luck, Willow’s spirit hasn’t dimmed. She’s gentle, obedient, and incredibly low-maintenance. She’s fully potty trained, kennel trained, and just wants a soft bed, good snacks, and a person to love her. She has had 3 feet since birth and it doesn’t hold her back! Willow is currently working on shedding a few pounds with a healthy diet and will also be finishing her heartworm treatment in a couple of weeks. Willow enjoys a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in her home. She prefers a quiet and calm environment. She does live with other dogs in her foster home, but she really would do best with her own space. She’s a slow, easygoing gal who’s perfectly content to spend her golden years snoozing by your side. If you’ve been looking for a quiet, loving companion to share your days with, Willow is your girl. ❤️
