Story
We have a mixed dog that showed up under our porch after an intense storm. He and his sister were scared and abandoned. We were able to rehome the sister but have not been able to find a home for the male. We have been desperately hopeful. We have gotten him neutered and continue to care for him but he is a very demanding breed. We are unable to give “Buddy” the Belgium malinois mix the attention and training he so desperately needs. He is around 2 years old. He is so active … can run so fast and needs to have plenty of room to be free and show off his agility.

Story
Age: 7 months Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Sex: Female, Spayed Weight: 40 pounds About: Curious, smart, and eager to learn…all amazing qualities to have in a dog and Finn matches them all. Finn was surrendered with her other siblings who have already found their forever homes. However, because Finn and her sister Princess are not traditional colors, they have been looked over every time. Finn’s Mom was a Belgian Malinois but they were unsure what the dad was. But that doesn’t matter to us, because we love her just the same! Finn is learning how to walk on a leash and her basic commands. She will need someone with the patience and willingness to continue to help her become the best dog she can be. She loves kids and enjoys running and playing with all the dogs in her playgroup!  (5/5/26)   Hope Dogs      Lower Fees. Adoption $300.00, Transport: $100.00     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  July 25, 2026, 4:28 pm

Asce is a playful and loving dog. He loves attention. He will probably require patience, as he transition. But he always comes around. Our homing situation has changed, we sadly have to rehome. We just want what’s best for him, a loving and caring owner(s). Willing to pay and prepare his new home.

Story
Hi everyone, Aspen is our 6 year old German Shepherd. She is an incredibly sweet and playful pup but she has very severe anxiety. We have tried medication but it does not help as much as we hoped it would. Her anxiety is set off by anything and recently it caused her to react and attack our older dog. Unfortunately because of this, she can no longer stay with us for both her safety and our other pets safety. She is known to chase our cats in a non-aggressive manner and our worry is that this will happen again towards our cats. She should not be in a home with cats in it. This is the first and only time she has ever reacted this way but she needs an experienced owner to help manage her stress and anxiety. We live in Leeds, Alabama but we will transport her to whomever chooses to adopt her. We are not requiring a rehoming fee, just that she gets the love and affection she deserves.

Story
Meet Sweet Pea, a 4-year-old shepherd mix who would be perfect for almost any home. Sweet Pea is great with cats, has an extremely high tolerance for crazy kids and walks absolutely perfectly on a leash. It really does not get any easier than Sweet Pea.  Sweet Pea was found wandering and pregnant, and she was taken into rescue late last year. Her 11 puppies all found homes in January, and since then Sweet Pea has gone from stressed mama to the most joyful, carefree dog. After a life that probably wasn’t so ideal, Sweet Pea now exudes happiness. She’s so grateful for her new life!    Based on a breed test from one of her puppies, Sweet Pea is likely a German Shepherd, Treeing Walker Coonhound, Chow Chow and American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She’s medium height and weighs about 45 lbs full grown. She’s crate trained, fully potty trained and travels well in the car. On a leash, she is perfection: she walks right next to you and never pulls.  At home, Sweet Pea is calm and a little lazy. She takes lots of naps and loves to be near her person. She also loves a good nap in the sunshine, and prefers to sleep on her back with all four paws up in the air. Sweet Pea doesn’t need a ton of exercise, but she loves a walk and enjoys meeting new people out in the world.   Sweet Pea is in a foster home with two young children, and she really is wonderful with children of all ages and energy levels. She even does well with children in large groups and has shown an affinity for children with special needs.   Sweet Pea also spends lots of time with the two cats in her foster home. She has formed a close bond with one of those cats and respects the personal space of the one that isn’t interested in her. Although she isn’t currently in a home with other dogs, Sweet Pea has done well with all the dogs she has met. And of course she was the best mama to her 11 puppies.   Sweet Pea is truly the most perfect, turn-key dog, and any family would be lucky to have her. Apply today if you want to be that lucky family.
