Story
I rescued Zara in Tennessee. She had been running about. Guessed age 1-3 years but she was definitely a puppy. She grew a lot and had puppy behaviors. She had separation anxiety and hated being crated. She can crate now if it s the right cage and anchored so she can not move it. Cage no longer than 4 hours. She does well in outdoor kennel for up to 8 hours but again it has to be inescapable. Currently her kennel is fencing on top too. I had to add wood. She adores children and her people. Loves people more than dogs but she does play well with those closer to her size. She’s a Velcro dog. She will not be happy if left alone too often. Very smart but will need consistent boundaries or she will lean toward being dominant. She responds better to praise than loud or physical forcing. She now will stay in yard or very close at neighbors WHILE I’m home. You can’t leave her out and go. She will look for someone who is home. Scared of thunder and fireworks. She is a love bug. Not a working dog.

Story
Meet Roo!Roo is an approximately 2-month-old Malinois mix who came to us as a stray, extremely emaciated and in need of care. She’s now getting the food, medical attention, and love she needs to grow healthy and strong.Through it all, Roo has been the sweetest girl. She has so much love to give, and she’s already showing how smart she is! She’s learning potty training and crate training and does great with other dogs, cats, and kids.Once Roo reaches a healthy weight, she’ll be scheduled for her spay. She will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, and microchipped before adoption. This little girl has a bright future ahead, and we can’t wait for her to find a family of her own.If interested in adopting and to begin the process, please go to our website and submit your adoption application or go to where it says the adoption process and click the link to submit your adoption application.

Story
Blondie is a stunning 9-year-old German Shepherd and Malinois mix weighing 58 lbs. She is a highly intelligent, focused dog who requires a handler with extensive experience in working breeds and protection training. Based on her behaviors, it appears she began professional protection training in the past that was never fully completed. She possesses a strong, confident personality and has the potential to be an exceptional companion for a person who understands how to provide the structure and leadership these breeds require. Despite likely spending the earlier part of her life outdoors, Blondie has transitioned remarkably well to life inside and is fully housebroken. She has been making excellent progress with her current training and is eager to work. However, due to her high drive and dominant nature, she must be the only pet in the home. She is not compatible with children or cats and shows dominance toward other dogs. Blondie is fully prepared for her forever home. She is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $250. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced owner who can continue her training and provide the focused environment she needs to thrive.October 4, 2026, 11:06 am
