Story
Hi, I'm the fun-sized athlete you've been looking for! At just 1 year old and around 50 pounds, I'm basically a furry bundle of energy with four-wheel drive. If your idea of a good day includes walks, runs, hikes, fetch, or just finding new adventures together, I think we're going to get along great. I'm still learning the ropes of living in a home, but I'm a great student because I actually like listening (especially if snacks are involved). I'm potty trained and know that outside is the place to do my business. I'm also crate trained, sleep quietly through the night, and am working hard on polishing my house manners every day. I LOVE toys. I LOVE chewing on bones. I LOVE playing with other dogs. Notice a pattern? If it involves fun, I'm all in! I'd be thrilled to have a playful dog sibling to wrestle and zoom around with, but I'm happy being your one-and-only adventure buddy too. I just love to get in the car and go. If I see your back hatch open, I'll jump right in the SUV to go!  People are pretty awesome, if you ask me. I'm friendly, enjoy meeting new friends, and even impressed everyone at the vet by being cooperative and letting them handle me without a fuss. I am VERY affectionate! That's pretty good for a young guy who's still figuring out the world! Like most Malinois, I've got brains, energy, and plenty of enthusiasm. I'm looking for an active home that will keep both my mind and body busy. In return, I'll give you endless laughs, loyal companionship, and a partner who's always ready for the next adventure. Story
Luna is a sweet rescue, we adopted her because our healer lost her sister to cancer. Adopted her when she was only couple months old, she’s going on 2 and a half years old according to adoption records. Adopter has to have knowledge of Malinios, and live in the same county as we do. Luna is not used to being around people other than us, so there needs to be visitations before adopting. The main reason for rehoming her, I have been diagnosed with cancer. And my housemate had a stroke, so we can’t accommodate what Luna needs. She’s a very loving smart dog, needs a home preferably without other dogs. Unless maybe more of her breed, I’ve adopted many dogs in my years. Never had to rehome one before, so this is very hard for me. But I want what’s right for her needs, I’ll give more information to whomever reaches out to me about her.

Story
Hi! It's me, Stan. I was adopted from BAGSR several years ago but unfortunately my person had some medical issues so I'm back looking for my next great adventure. It's all good, I'm a big, confident boy with a lot of love to give. I'm around 6 years old, and we think I'm a very cool mix of German Shepherd, Malinois and maybe some guardian breed due to my neat back dew claws but who knows. I have a gorgeous soft golden orange coat and the cutest white on my muzzle (sugar lips) and silly white eyebrows. I was originally found in Tulare, chilling out in a fruit orchard before I met my human friends. I don't remember how I got there but I don't think it was good. That's all way behind me now. I'm a super easy-going boy and don't thak things too seriously. I love to go for rides and explore new places and meet new people, espeically the petting kind — seriously, who doesn't? I've seen lots of other dogs when out and about and, while I might glance at them, I pretty much mind my own business. I love going for walks and I don't yank my person around, that would be kind of rude for a distinguished guy like me.  I'm super healthy, active with a chill switch, crate trained if you must, house trained, have my basics and will shake hands if you ask. I have been known to surf a counter or two but you just have to remember to push the food back out of reach. I know I shouldn't but I am a "foodie" and take my treats seriously. Oh, and I've got this funny habit of walking between your legs. It's like my signature move! I think someone tried to teach me this and we only got partway. I seemed to have missed the "only when asked, Stan" part.  Now, about those treats... I really really like treats. One of my friends said I take treats like a starving pirahana and I might accidentaly get a finger (I really don't like fingers unless they are chicken fingers.) Still, I doubt I could help myself from snatching a treat from a kid if given the chance, so it's best if I live with a family that has older kids. I love kids (recently got mobbed by a Girl Scouts group and loved every minutes of it) but those yummy treats........ I'm looking for a family who can be my leader and guide me as I continue to learn and grow. I'm a big, confident boy, and I need someone who knows their way around large breeds like me. But trust me, I'm worth it—I'll be your loyal companion for life. So if you're looking for an awesome dog like me, look no further!  I'm hanging out in Santa Rosa if you want to meet me or just come say hi.  You like this dog...now what? Story
Hi, I’m Buddy! I’m a big, handsome 4 year old guy and weigh about 80 lbs. My DNA says I'm 51% GSD and 49% Belgian Malinois. A great mix of pefection if I must say. I'm an active boy and I enjoy getting out and about getting my sniff on. When you are ready to go, so am I. Riding in the car means FUN and I'm all in. I walk fairly well on leash, but I do need reminders to not pull, especially when I need to smell that perfect tree or bush or blade of grass—I’m working on it!  I'm pretty cool around other dogs but once in a while I will tell someone off that is giving me the vibes. I don't get carried away and will move on when asked. I don't think I would like those 'dog parks' I've heard of - too many different types for me. I’m a pretty friendly boy but true to my breeds, I can be aloof when meeting new people. I'm not the kind of dog that rushes up to everyone to say hello and I prefer not to be mobbed by strangers wanting to pet me. I don't blame them, I'm so handsome, but I need a minute. Now if you are a girl human, you are already pretty high on my 'trust' list. For reasons unknown, boy humans make me just a bit nervous when I'm asked to meet them. I'm ok once I get to know them though. I do great going into stores, walking through people (girls and boys), taking treats, traffic isn't scarey, etc.  I would prefer a gentle but confident leader—someone who can guide me firmly without being too harsh. I may be a big, handsome dude with smoking eyes, but I am also kind of sensitive. I've been ok around kids but not sure how I would be around really young carpet crawlers. When we are playing and I get a little rambunctious, I can get just a little mouthy (it's the maligator thing) but it's just because I'm having so much fun. This is not a behavior for little ones, though.  I am a TOTAL squirrel fiend—chasing them is my favorite sport! If I spot one, I want it. I can't help it. If I could climb a tree I think I would. That said, I’m definitely not a cat or small critter guy! Small dogs have been ok but the prey drive is definitely there.  I’m a smart boy and already know my basics. My recall still needs work, but don’t worry—I’m not a runner. What I really want is to bond deeply with my person. If we trust each other I will give you all my loyalty and devotion. I'm a smart boy and I will be an epic companion but I"m not the best fit for someone that doesn't want to teach me or prefers a couch dweller. I'm hanging out with my friends in Santa Rosa if you think you are ready for a guy like me.  You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Buddy by clicking here.
