Story
Hi there — I’m Herbie, and if you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving guy with just the right amount of Malinois spirit… you might want to keep reading. I’m 60 pounds of handsome, healthy goodness, and I’m basically in my young athlete discovering life is awesome phase. I absolutely love people — strangers included — and I’m always happy to say hello and lean in for affection. Honestly, being close to my humans is one of my favorite hobbies. I walk nicely on leash, ride great in the car, and I’ve done well in small playgroups. I haven’t shown any issues with smaller dogs so far, though I haven’t met cats yet. After being a bit sedentary for the last month or so, my stamina is still building back up, but I’m excited to get moving again and would love a person who wants a buddy for outings, training, and adventures. Now let’s talk about the important stuff: toys. Fetch? Eh… I’ll humor you.Frisbee? Okay, that’s more interesting.Tug? YES PLEASE. The first time I grabbed a tug toy, I took off shaking it like I had just won the championship. I love tug and really come alive during play. The flirt pole is my absolute jam — I get serious airtime and show off some impressive athletic moves. I also seem to think water fountains are personal splash zones, so water fun might be in my future too. I’m not a “go-go-go 24/7” kind of Malinois, but I do have drive and enthusiasm, especially when toys and training are involved. I learn quickly, I’m food motivated, and I genuinely enjoy working with my person. Because of that, I’d do best with an adopter who has experience with Malinois, German Shepherds, or similar working breeds — not necessarily a pro trainer, but someone who understands active, smart dogs and wants to continue guiding me. I can get a little jumpy and occasionally mouthy when excited (hey, I’m young!), so any home with kids would need thoughtful discussion and supervision while I keep learning my manners. What you get with me is a really lovely balance: affectionate companion fun training partner playful athlete genuinely sweet soul I’m a great dog looking for someone ready to help me grow into the amazing partner I’m meant to be. So… got a tug toy and a spot next to you? I’m ready when you are. ‍ You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Herbie by clicking here. Story
Rome and his brother were found together after being abandoned in Richmond, CA, but thankfully their story took a happy turn. Now thriving in foster care in Rodeo, CA, Rome is healthy, confident, and ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. Rome is about 1 year old and weighs around 58 pounds. He’s a Belgian Malinois mix with a sleek black coat that gleams in the sun, soft brown socks, a little white on his chest, and expressive upright ears that are always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He’s handsome for sure — but it’s his personality that really shines. Rome is smart, athletic, and full of joyful energy. He loves being active and would be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or outdoor adventures. That said, he’s not all go-go-go — he also knows how to settle and enjoy downtime with his people. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and friendly with other dogs. Like many young pups, his play style can be enthusiastic, but it’s all in good fun. Rome is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, making him a joy to train and bond with. At home, Rome enjoys good food (chicken, duck, and salmon are top-tier in his book) and even appreciates some background music — rock and roll is his favorite, though he’s willing to humor a little country now and then 😉 He’d love a home with another dog to play with, especially one who can match his energy. Rome is looking for a family who’s ready for adventure, laughter, and lots of love. In return, he’ll be a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings heart, happiness, and plenty of tail wags into your life.

Story
Remy’s journey hasn’t always been easy. He was found abandoned in late May in a commercial area of Richmond, CA, but once he was rescued and brought into foster care in Rodeo, everything started to turn around. Since then, he’s been blossoming into the happy, loving dog he was always meant to be. Remy is about 1 year old and around 70 pounds — a Belgian Malinois mix with a stunning brindle coat, a handsome black face, and adorable black socks. He’s a big boy, but don’t let his size fool you… he’s truly a gentle soul. Smart, attentive, and eager to please, Remy loves learning new things (especially if treats are involved!). He’s crate trained, housebroken, and does well with other dogs. He especially enjoys having a canine buddy to romp around with — someone close to his size who can match his playful energy. At home, Remy is affectionate and loyal, the kind of dog who wants to be near his people and soak up all the love. He’s a big fan of chicken, duck, and especially salmon — and yes, he even enjoys music. Rock and roll is his favorite, but he’s open-minded enough to tolerate a little country too 😉 Remy would do best in a home that offers consistency, kindness, and a bit of structure — plus plenty of love. In return, he’ll give you his whole heart, his goofy charm, and a lifelong best friend.
