Jade is our stunning middle aged (around 6 years old) female who is available on foster to adopt basis. She has just started her heartworm treatment so for now, she needs to stay close to our veterinarian in Volusia County. Our rescue is financially responsible for all costs associated with the treatment. Jade is the perfect blend of intensity and affection. True to her Malinois nature, she is alert, intelligent and always focused. She is always ready for a new task or adventure. She thrives on structure and would do wonderfully with an experienced owner who appreciates her drive and sharp mind. At the same time, her softer side melts hearts. She is very affectionate with people, leans in for love, rolls on her back, sits on your lap and enjoys every moment by your side. Malinois experience is required. Jade is also semi trained and has a solid foundation, making her a great candidate for continued training or agility, once she is done with her heartworm treatment. Captain is a sweet, affectionate, people-loving dog looking for a stable forever home. I am currently in the military and may be deploying soon. With my schedule getting increasingly busy, I cannot give him the consistent time and attention he deserves long-term. Captain is about 7 years old, healthy, and up to date on all shots. He has a medium energy level, does not bark, and loves affection. He is great with kids and enjoys walks and car rides. He does not tear up the house. Training: crate trained, housebroken, and knows sit, paw, and lay down. Dog friendly: he does well with smaller dogs and has lived with two smaller dogs for the past two years. With dogs his size, he needs a proper introduction. He is not aggressive, he just loves to play and can be overly enthusiastic at first. Captain comes with a crate, 6-inch memory foam bed, food container, bowls, toys, rear-seat cover, and a pet grooming vacuum.

MEET MAKIMA - currently located in Winter Park, FL (ADOPTIVE HOME IS PREFERRED, but we are also looking to place her in a foster home until she is adopted - we cover everything!) Makima is approximately 2 years old - full grown at 35-40 lbs., healthy, housebroken, crate trained, and good with people but at first meeting, she is a bit timid. She has been around children, but not toddlers. She is dog friendly but has never lived with another dog. She is great with kittens, was BEST FRIENDS with a guinea pig, and was a totally awesome companion U N T I L the dynamics in her home changed drastically; the working hours of her humans were extended, she isn't getting nearly enough exercise and is subsequently spending too much time alone and crated. The recent loss of her BFF (a guinea pig) has made her life miserable. Out of boredom, loneliness and lack of exercise, she has been getting into mischief when left alone - so she is spending more 'alone' time in her crate. Getting another BFF is not the answer as the humans will still be working long hours. The difficult decision to re-home her has been made. Her ideal home would be where she can get LOTS of exercise and playtime (she is still technically a puppy)- She will be spayed and microchipped and checked over by our Vet as soon as we can get an appointment but if you are interested, please EMAIL us for an application - jmilbyer@gmail.com. A nominal rehoming fee of $250 will apply and will be applied towards her vet bill.
