Story
Rusty didn't remember things clearly- just that the way the wind felt wrong.it had been fast, whipping through his ears as the door opened and a voice he trusted said nothing at all. No command, No praise. Just a dull thud of a door closing and tires spitting gravel as they disappeared down a South Florida road lined with palmettos and heat.Rusty waited. Because good dogs wait. The sun was hot, as well as the air, he paced, circled and sniffed the air for a scent he knew would come back. But they never did. He is Loyal to a fault, like only a young Belgian Mali can be.Time past, night came then hunger. But Rusty wasn't just any dog, even then, scared and confused, he waited. He waited after being attacked by other dogs as they had to fight to get food. He waited for his person to come back. they never did but a good Samaritan finally found him. He didn't growl or run. He did lean in for some good love. That's the way Rusty is.Once safe, Rusty fit right into his foster home.

Story
❤️ Heidi Location: South FL (WPB Area) Heidi is currently being fostered and trained by a dog trainer. We are working on building weight, muscle, confidence, and overall structure. Up to date on vetting and preventative care. Spayed 4/16. Temperament Evaluation: Evaluated by foster/trainer. Heidi is affectionate, environmentally aware, high energy, social/friendly with people she’s met, clean/quiet in the kennel, potty trained, and shows typical Malinois traits including athletic, loyal, very intelligent, and high trainability. Extremely high toy drive, good possession. Will also play fetch. Moderate food drive (can be built but much rather work for her ball/tug) Overall super fun, driven, eager to learn, loves her people. Job/Sport Potential: Best suited for an active, structured home. Could enjoy sport foundations, obedience, detection-style games, hiking, or an outlet-heavy companion home. She does not need a sport home, but she absolutely needs a handler with Malinois knowledge and consistency willing to provide training and breed specific enrichment. She is not a couch potato. Training History: Currently working on basic obedience, impulse control, and improving cooperative play. As well as overall house manners and off switch. Ball-obsessed. Loves to tug. Will work for just about any toy. Has an OUT. Perfect in the crate and in the car. Will be off leash/e collar trained. Dog/Cat/Kid Notes: Good with male dogs but can be pesty, but will back off when told. Was informed dominant with female dogs but currently untested. Cats most likely not recommended. No young children recommended due to mouthiness and prey instinct. Heidi is the kind of dog that will excel with the perfect handler—she just needs direction, consistency, and an outlet. She is a fun, driven young dog with a lot of potential in the right hands.

Story
Klaus is a young male Belgian Malinois with a nice, balanced (medium) drive. He loves to play tug, chase the flirt pole, and is currently learning fetch. He’s a great prospect for dog sports or an active home, and he truly enjoys working and spending time with his person. Klaus can be a little shy in new environments at first, but he adjusts quickly with a bit of time and support. In his foster home, he’s been dog-friendly with both large and small dogs, male and female, and has shown good impulse control around cats. He’s also on a journey to getting healthier with a consistent feeding schedule and routine care. Klaus is currently working through some potty training setbacks due to a possible UTI. He understands going outside but is still having occasional accidents as he works through it. Klaus would do best in a home that’s willing to continue building his confidence and give him an outlet for play and training. He’s a thoughtful, fun dog who’s ready to bond with his person and keep learning.

Story
Jax is around 10 weeks old found as a stray. He was at shelter in arcadia for a week until the foster took him under her wing. The foster says he is so lovable with the Malinios drive combined but understands how to settle in his crate. He is quick to learn and wants to please. He loves playing with the fosters 1 1/2 boxer and is learning how to toughen up. He has a hint of heeler in him as he has those markings on his feet and tip of tail is white. The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and other needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Parrish, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. Story
I adopted Captain 5 years ago from a family in my neighborhood and he's been a great dog to have! He's very smart and full of energy; he loves to run, go for walks and play with his toys. He's also a great snuggler and loves his cat brother and sister. He could use some more leash training but listens well to commands. Captain is very protective of his home and will be sure to let know when someone has arrived (his bark is bigger than his bite)! The reason we need to re-home him is we've learned he does not like children after the birth of our first child 11 months ago. Her safety is our top priority but we also want to make sure Captain doesn't go just anywhere. Some nonnegotiables for him are a yard and/or someone who lives an active lifestyle and loves being outdoors. Captain also needs someone with a lot of love and attention to give!
