🐾 Kendall — A Gentle Malinois Girl Looking for Her Forever Person 🐾
**9 months old • Female Belgian Malinois • Sweet, gentle & incredibly devoted**
Meet **Kendall**, a beautiful 9-month-old Belgian Malinois with one of the softest, sweetest souls you could ever hope to meet. There truly isn't a mean bone in this girl's body. She is kind, gentle, affectionate, and wants nothing more than to know she is safe, loved, and doing the right thing for her person.
Kendall can be a little shy at first, but underneath that initial shyness is a **friendly, social, playful young dog** who genuinely enjoys both people and other animals. Once she connects with her person, she bonds deeply and wants to be right there with them. She is the type of dog who will try something simply because **you asked her to and she trusts you.**
A perfect example? Kendall will happily hop onto a **slatmill treadmill and start going simply because her foster asked her to.** That willingness to work with her human says so much about who she is. She is eager to please, cooperative, and incredibly relationship-oriented.
🐕 **Kendall is wonderful with other dogs.**
She has done well with both males and females and with dogs ranging from small to large. She enjoys being social and playful without being an overwhelming personality.
She does get excited about the small things in life, maybe sometimes over excited but in the sweetest, goofiest ways. Nothing but a big puppy.
🐈 **She can also coexist with cats with appropriate supervision and management.**
❤️ **Her greatest strength is her heart.**
Kendall bonds strongly with her people and truly wants to make them happy. She isn't looking to take over the world—she is looking for someone she can trust, learn from, play with, and belong to.
Because she is still a young Malinois, Kendall has plenty of potential for someone interested in doing more with their dog. She could possibly make a **fun recreational sport or herding prospect**, depending on the activity and handler, and the work, time put in with this girl.
We think she would especially enjoy something that builds her confidence while strengthening the relationship she already loves having with her person.
She does **not** need to go to a competitive sport home; an engaged pet home that enjoys training, adventures, enrichment, and including their dog in everyday life could be just as wonderful, she will do whatever you are doing. If you go all day she will, if you hang out all day she will.
Kendall's ideal family will understand that confidence doesn't always happen overnight. She deserves someone patient and encouraging who will let her continue blossoming at her own pace. In return, you're getting a young dog who is gentle to her core and seems willing to give her whole heart to the person who gives her theirs.
### What's Included With Kendall's Adoption
Kendall's adoption fee helps cover the care she has received while in rescue. Depending on an individual dog's needs, this care may span several weeks or months and includes veterinary expenses necessary to improve or maintain the dog's health. It also allows us the opportunity to get to know each dog and evaluate their personality and needs so we can work toward finding the right home—not simply the first available one.
Her adoption also includes:
• **Lifetime training support through PLAY! K9 Academy in Parrish, Florida**
• **Lifetime microchip registration**
• The benefit of the medical and behavioral information gathered while Kendall has been in our care
Adoption fees also help us continue our mission of rescuing unwanted and displaced **herding and working breeds** from shelters and owners and giving them the time, care, training, and placement they deserve.
Because Kendall is still young, her adoption requires a **$150 refundable spay deposit**. The deposit will be reimbursed once she has received an age-appropriate alteration at approximately **18 months of age**, in accordance with the rescue's adoption requirements.
Kendall isn't looking for just somewhere to live.
**She's looking for her person.**
Someone who sees the gentle girl behind the Malinois label. Someone who will build her confidence, give her opportunities to learn and play, and appreciate just how special it is to earn the complete trust of a dog like Kendall.
If you're looking for a **sweet, sensitive, playful and deeply devoted young companion** who wants nothing more than to learn beside you and be part of your world, Kendall may be exactly the girl you've been waiting for. 🐾❤️
