Story

This is Athena. I rescued her back in 2022 when she was a puppy. She's believed to be a husky/malinois mix, approximately 4 years old now. She lounges around most of the day but always wants to be next to me. She loves swimming but also doesn't understand when it's time to take a break. She is wary of other people and other dogs, due to a former attack. She has great senses, and knows when someone is walking past the house. She is the type to bark at someone to say hello when they're passing by unless she's allowed to approach them or they completely pass. She loves to roam around, has always had good recall with myself and my siblings. I've had multiple health issues arise and am not able to provide the care and attention I feel she deserves and needs.

This is Makira, she is 2 years and 8 months old her birthday is November 23rd ( thanksgiving day) I have had her since she was 2 months old as a gift from my parents, she is very well trained and a super sweet and loving girl her favorite things are swimming and playing ball, she is good with other dogs and cats and she loves kids specially babies, unfortunately I’m having a lot of problems in the new house I moved to so I’m not able to keep her any longer I also lost my job recently so it’s been pretty hard for me to give her the proper care, I’m not asking for any money she means the world to me and it breaks my heart to look for a new home, I just want someone who will love her and take her of her as much or even better as I do for her. She has helped me a lot with my personal life, she came to my life after I had a miscarriage and she has become my whole world so I really want someone who can give me her the same love and care while still keeping up her training and needs!

Phoenix aka Pheeney aka Nix, is a sweet boy who takes a little bit of time to open up but once he does is the sweetest boy. He LOVES other dogs male and female and would do best in a home with another confident dog. He tested well with children but can jump when excited as he’s still a puppy this is something he is working on. Phoenix walks well on a leash with minimal issues. We are still working on basic obedience (sit, stay, and place) but he is trying. He loves playing in the kiddie pools and has done some mild scent work on property finding deer sheds without formal training just by watching and learning from another dog in the home. He loves to run and play but is perfectly content to just lay on your lap all day as well! He is house trained for the most part with supervision and fully kennel trained. She found herself in a shelter and was extremely thin when she came in to rescue. She spend 10 days boarding at a veterinary hospital due to us not having an available foster. She also completed a board and train program. Once she was placed with her foster it was very apparent that there was an underlying health issue that had caused her extreme weight loss and was soon diagnosed as an EPI dog. Good news is it's easily managed with an enzyme powder sprinkled on each meal. She has already gone from 50.8 lbs to 80 lbs in just 5 weeks. Cocoa is very intelligent and eager to please. She would do best with an experienced handler, no kids and an only pet. She can be selective of people and seems to do best with females. Her training with Kyser K9 is life long and a new owner will be able to work with them and have access to training sessions.
