Story
Meet Forrest! 🐾At just 2 years old, Forrest is a handsome German Shepherd with a heart of gold and enough energy to keep you smiling every day. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, adventure partner, or a dog who Is always ready to play, Forrest is your guy!He absolutely loves other dogs and would happily spend his day wrestling with canine friends or carrying his favorite toy around the yard. He is a busy boy through and through, do not expect him to be the kind of dog who spends all afternoon snoozing on the couch. Forrest thrives when he has a job to do, room to explore, and an active family to keep up with.Forrest can make a big first impression. When meeting new people, he tends to bark loudly and rush at them, which can be intimidating if you don’t know him. The truth is no one ever taught him how to politely greet strangers. Once he has been given the chance to say hello and gets a few pets, his tough guy act disappears, and he is all about making new friends.Forrest has already been through four homes at his young age. He is never had the consistency he deserves. What he really needs is someone willing to give him structure, patience, and the time to let him settle in. In return, you will gain an incredibly loyal companion. He has done wonderfully with leash training and already knows several commands including sit, down, come (here), and heel. He also has some adorable signature moves. He loves to offer his paw and give hugs! He is kennel trained and settles in well, though if he has not had enough physical and mental exercise, he will definitely let you know he is ready to get back to having fun.Forrest would do best with an active family that understands the needs of a young German Shepherd and is excited to continue building his confidence and skills. Give this sweet boy the chance he’s been waiting for, and he’ll reward you with endless loyalty, love, and unforgettable adventures. ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED for an approved adopter Apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet him!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

I'm Orville, a striking 1-year-old black and fawn tricolor Belgian Malinois–German Shepherd mix, and I'm ready for an active adventure with you! 🐕 I'm already neutered and crate trained, so I've got the basics down — but fair warning, I'm a high-energy guy who needs exercise several times a day to be my best self. I'm fantastic with kids and other dogs, which makes me a great fit for a bustling household. I'm smart, playful, and affectionate, and I thrive when I'm working or playing alongside my people. If you're looking for a loyal, energetic companion who'll keep up with your active lifestyle, let's meet! 💪✨ Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! She’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Malinois/German Shepherd Mix Puppies – Experienced Homes ONLY Yes, they are absolutely STUNNING. But these puppies are not just pretty faces—they are typical Malinois/German Shepherd-type puppies with the intelligence, drive, energy, and intensity that come with these breeds. At just 10 weeks old, they are still small, but they are expected to grow into 50+ pound adult dogs. And they are already showing us exactly who they are: • Mouthy and nippy – they are puppies and are still learning appropriate behavior • High-energy with plenty of squealing, bouncing, and puppy craziness • Tenacious – they don't give up easily • Extremely smart and quick to learn • Driven and intense • Curious, active, and ready for a job, training, and adventure These puppies are NOT apartment dogs. They also are not a good match for homes with young children, primarily because of their natural puppy nipping and intensity. They need owners who understand that raising a Malinois/German Shepherd-type dog requires being intentional from day one with training, structure, boundaries, exercise, and mental stimulation. Breed-specific or very similar breed experience is REQUIRED. We are looking for adopters who truly understand what these dogs are going to become—not simply someone who thinks they are beautiful puppies. Please understand that we are always picky and tenacious with our applications, but we will be especially tenacious with these puppies. Their future depends on placing them with owners who are prepared for the commitment and intensity of these breeds. If you have the experience, structure, time, and dedication these puppies need, they could grow into incredible companions. Beautiful? Absolutely. Smart? VERY. Driven? Without a doubt. Easy? Nope. Worth it for the right owner? Absolutely! Adopt responsibly. Know the breed. Know the commitment. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Enzo is truly a sweet, kind, and loving dog with an amazing personality. He really is the best dog and has so much love to give! He needs a home where someone is around most of the time, as he does not like being alone. Enzo is very active and would love a home where he can run, explore, and go on daily walks or hikes. He knows basic commands but can be selective about listening. He is also a strong jumper who gets overly excited when greeting people and has knocked over children and older adults. An experienced owner who can provide consistent training, structure, exercise, and patience would be the best fit. Enzo is an incredibly loving companion who deserves a home where he can thrive and share all the love in his big heart!
