Story
Chevy came to us with his brother Charger after their owner passed away in early 2024. Since that time we learned that Chevy never really knew what a toy was, he is a very smart dog with a drive to play. He is very high energy, despite his age, and requires someone who can give him the time and dedication needed to help him realize that this truly is the life-play, run, fetch, play some more, all the things. He does not know that the ball will still be there tomorrow, so he does not like to give it back. He will learn one day, they are plentiful. Chevy did well with Charger, but he was the boss of Charger. He requires a meet & greet to ensure compatibility. Due to his prey drive, he requires a fully fenced in yard, and we do not recommend he go with cats or small dogs.
