Are you looking for an energetic, smart, spunky and cuddly Belgian Malinois puppy? Delta is a confident, happy little girl with a sparkling personality who is perfect for an active owner! This girl is everything one would want in a medium drive Malinois/GSD! She is full of confidence! She eagerly plays with her much larger canine foster siblings and explores the world around her with enthusiasm. Delta loves to play with her people as well, and is always looking for the next adventure. Delta absolutely adores children – she loves to hang out and spend time with her foster’s young children. A typical energizer puppy, she has plenty of energy, but she is also a true velcro girl. Her loving nature keeps her right next to her favorite people - she is a true snuggle bug! Housebroken and crate trained, she sleeps quietly in her crate all night. She likes cats (she doesn't understand why they don't always want to play with her though) and rarely barks - quite an rarity in a young Malinois/GSD pup! Delta is learning to play with balls, absolutely adores paying tug, and is food and treat motivated as well. Delta is also doing will with her puppy training, learning to sit, down and recall. This girl is also super smart and resilient. She adapts very quickly to changes in her environment and She is truly special and will do best in an active home with adopters who will provide her with exercise and training help her reach her full potential. Our Breakfast club is new to MAD rescue and we are excited to get to know them. They are dutch/mal mix puppies, stay tuned for updates! We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each of our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 750 miles, however, the applicant must drive 50% of the total distance of the transport in those cases. If the pet of interest is farther than 750 miles, MAD will provide up to 350 miles of transport assistance and the adopter will need to arrange or drive the balance of the distance. Any additional miles must be covered by the applicant. The information that we have available is in our posting. Applications that are completed in our process and being considered as a match will speak to the foster home to gain more information about our adoptable dog. All MAD Rescue animals are spayed or neutered. For puppies we do have a $ 250 refundable spay/neuter deposit and require sterilization at the age of 6 months. The rescue will cover the expense of the s/n up to $ 350. All MAD Rescue animals are vaccinated to include Parvo/Distemer combo, Bordatella, and Rabies. Our dogs will be heartworm tested and treated if necessary. MAD Rescue dogs will also have a fecal exam and treated for any parasites. Each adopted MAD Rescue dog will be provided with a FI GPS locator collar and 6 months of service at no additional charge. MAD Rescue provides a one month subscription to Petcademy for every new adoptive parent/family. Adoption fees should be included on each posting. 2024 fees are $ 550 for puppies under 1 year of age, $ 495 for adults over 1 year and up to 7 years old, Seniors are $ 395. She was seen out in the city for about three weeks; I suspect she was abandoned out there. Miraculously, this tender gal kept herself alive for three weeks and evaded capture. She would occasionally link up with folks walking their dogs, but she'd peel off and disappear again when someone tried to get a leash on her. Some eyewitnesses even reported they spotted her playing with coyotes! Finally, exhausted, she allowed one of our ACOs to apprehend her last week and she's been at our shelter since. No one has come looking for her. Despite being underweight and deeply exhausted, this dog has been an absolute doll. I named her Marina, since she came from the ocean. Marina is a very gentle dog with a soft temperament, and she really adores people. She is affectionate and sweet, and she's eagerly catching up on lost meals and some decent sleep. Marina did well meeting other dogs on her dog/dog testing here, and seems like a pretty easy keeper as far as Malligators go. She's a bit timid still, and certainly recovering from her time out in the wild, but she's eager to connect and a quick study with training. She doesn't seem particularly drivey, but she may also still be bouncing back from her ordeal. No resource guarding. Very quiet in her kennel too, and a tidy lass to boot. ##2342897##
