Story
I acquired Aspen from SPCA of Southwest Michigan at roughly 4 months old. She is currently 7 months and will turn 8 months on March 4. I am looking to find her a new home due to my inability to give her the care she needs. She is a super energetic and working dog. One of the smartest dogs I have ever met in my life but she has a super hard head. She will need someone who can put in the time with her and full fill her to the level she needs. She does great around my girlfriends dog but you can tell she likes to be in charge. She has also had some other behavior issues with smaller dogs so she will need a household with no other pets and someone who can properly socialize her with pets. Her sit, stay, and down are amazing and is somewhat good with healing without the leash. Her come command is good when she wants it to be (hard headed) and she is great on a leash when she has on a prong collar. She will walk right beside you and sit when you stop.

Story
Winslow Winslow is a male Malinois/Heeler DOB: June 11th, 2025 Adoption fee: $150 I was told this is my heritage, maternally, Belgium Malinois and paternally, 50 % Red Heeler/25% Standard Poodle/25% Australian Shepherd mix. I think I am just a very nice young man, who can be shy to new people, places, and things. Due to my current behavior, I will require a physical fenced yard. I am not fit for apartment life. I would do my best with someone with my breeds characteristics and is familiar with dogs who might need more time to adapt to a new environment. I am not as energetic as my brothers but could develop more of a zest for play once I have acclimated to my new home. I would enjoy a home with another dog which is looking to mentor a young impressionable pup who just wants to belong. I will seek out more attention and affection from my humans with another dog in my home. My leash walking is coming along. At times, or with new volunteers, I need more encouragement to walk next to or in front of them. I tend to trail behind with less confidence until I become more acclimated to the person. I am a very nice pup. I do have a lot of hair and will need to be brushed or possibly groomed a couple of times a year.

Waverly Waverly is a female Malinois/Heeler mix DOB: June 11th, 2025 Adoption fee: $150 I was told this is my heritage, maternally, Belgium Malinois and paternally, 50 % Red Heeler/25% Standard Poodle/25% Australian Shepherd mix. I think I am just a very nice young lady, who can be shy to new people, places, and things. Due to my current behavior, I will require a physical fenced yard. I am not fit for apartment life. I would do my best with a family experienced with my breeds characteristics. I am hitting my adolescent stage and would really benefit from a change of scenery. A home with a family, older children, less commotion, another dog looking to mentor a young impressionable pup that is eager to follow their lead, would be absolutely perfect for me. I could tolerate a dog-friendly cat, with a slow proper introduction. I am doing better with my leash training. I am not super confident and will walk more behind you than in front or to your side. I am an observer and take my time to work up to affection. I find confidence in having another social dog by my side. I will be medium or on the smaller end of large when fully grown. I have a thick coat and enjoy playing outside. With confidence and training, I will enjoy going for daily walks and playing in the yard.

I think I am just a very nice young man looking for a family which can’t live without me. I am not fit for apartment life. I would do my best with someone with my breed's characteristics. I am at my adolescent stage and would really benefit from a change of scenery. I am energetic and playful. At times, I can’t get close enough to you. I may think I am a lap dog. I would love a home with a fully fenced yard. I may require it, pending your previous experience, location and or other plans for containment. I will enjoy daily walks. I would do my best with a routine and basic obedience. I may match with another dog but may do best with a female dog or as an only dog. I may enjoy weekly play groups pending the situation. I do have a very full coat and will require regular brushing or grooming a couple of times per year. I should adapt to a dog-friendly cat as long as we are introduced properly. I would do my best with older children pending observed interaction.

Story
This is Willow. She needs a big yard or fenced in yard that she can be out whenever she pleases. She loves to be outside no matter the weather. She has to be out. She is a Belgium Malinois Husky Mix. She is going to be 4. She is UTD on vaccines, she is spayed, potty trained and is chipped and pretty decent about manners. She is full of personality, dramatic, rambunctious and a great cuddler. She gets along well with Cats, Dogs and all feral children. She loves dog parks camping, car rides, exploring, beaches... you name it. I would suggest a home with older children as she is hyperactive and jumpy especially when she is excited. (Her Breed) She doesn't do the best on the leash as she's always been kind of a free roamer but knows to stay close and in sight. She listens to silent commands and will ring the bell to let you know she wants out- She is kennel trained Vet Ref Req.
