Story
Hello, my name is Lexus!I am very excited to move into my new home and keep the ball rolling with my socialization. I am a very confident and loving girl and could do well in a busier household than my sister Porsche. It is important that I join a family that has the time and patience to dedicate to my socialization and training, and who can handle my energy and excitement. I am not aggressive but still mouthy and bouncy which means I am a bit too much for small children at this point of my life. To become a well-rounded, socialized adult, it`s important I have frequent and positive interactions with new people, other dogs, visits to the vet clinic and other unfamiliar environments (like friends` homes and pet stores).I am very affectionate, playful and just a bundle of pure love! MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: I could be good with older children that can help with my training but I am a bit much for small kids.OTHER DOGS: I could be good with other dogs once I have been taught proper socialization.CATS: Potentially, with a cat confident around dogs and training.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience. Researching Belgian Malinois dogs would be a good idea.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with a yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: It would be best if someone could be home part of the day or a lunch break.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: HighHOUSE-TRAINED: Yes but do expect some accidents.BIRTHDAY: May 21, 2025**I am a foster to adopt until I am spayed.**If you think I would be a good fit for you, please visit www.uppercredit.com or call us at 519-833-2287

Story
Currently in Vancouver!!! Meet Huchu – Searching for His Forever Home Age: 4 years Weight: 28kg Sex: Neutered male Color: Black & white Huchu’s story is heartbreaking—he was once on the euthanasia list at a city shelter in 2022, his life nearly taken before it truly began. Thankfully, he was rescued, and since then he’s been waiting quietly, hoping someone would finally see him and give him the love he deserves. Despite what he’s been through, Huchu’s gentle soul shines through. He’s polite with people and dogs, calm on walks, fully house-trained, and shows no signs of separation anxiety. At home, he’s quiet and non-destructive, happy just to be near you. He even allows his paws to be touched and stays calm during cleaning—always patient, always trusting. He’s also an excellent traveler, hopping into the car with ease and riding peacefully by your side. He adapts beautifully to home life—content, low-maintenance, and so easy to love. Gentle with a cat! Huchu has already lost so much, but he hasn’t lost hope. What he needs now is a family who will give him the security he’s been waiting for, someone who will promise him forever. Please open your heart and consider adopting Huchu. He has been waiting far too long, and he deserves to finally come home. Send in your application through our website! Please also check out his post on our Facebook or Instagram. or his foster story in Vancouver! ##2500990##

Story
Hello! My name is Taylor!I`m a loving girl who can be timid meeting new people but since being at GHS I`ve come out of my shell beautifully and seem to be less timid with strangers. I am a petite little thing, not even 60 pounds! My new family should know that I work as a part-time digger and will help with any gardening needs you have or even snow removal when the time comes. I like to dig holes for my toys and then cover them up by shoveling dirt over it with my nose. I may sometimes bark at dogs on leash if they are too close. But with a bit of space and some positive reinforcement with treats, I have made really nice progress so far! I am a snuggly and affectionate girl and at the end of the day I`m just looking for a loving home that will show me what a good girl I am.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given my timid nature.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a friendly, playful dog who won`t be off-put by my initial barking.CATS: Potentially, with a cat experienced with and comfortable living with dogs. FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard preferred. Rural would also be great!SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. Story
Hello! My name is Essen!I`ve been waiting for my family to come along since February. My Christmas wish is that my new family will adopt me before the end of the year and I can ring in the new year in my new home. I`m a big sweetheart and always start my day with snuggles in bed with foster mom! I`m a very friendly girl and enjoy meeting new humans. I prefer humans over dogs and would be a great family dog for a home with older kids. I am so smart and have learned so many new skills because of my awesome foster mom. I`ve also recently discovered that I am an excellent cottage buddy and love to swim!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Yes, older and mature children!OTHER DOGS: Other dogs cause me stress, so I`m looking to be the only dog.CATS: Since I like to chase little critters, I shouldn`t live with kitties.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best in a home that has dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Homes with yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: I do well home alone!SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes!If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Kelsey!I`m a kind girl who can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. I can be a bit timid of new people but warm up with time if they have some yummy treats and let me give them a few sniff-overs. Once I warm up, I am affectionate. I do also have a playful side and even though I`m not a young pup, I still like to romp around in the snow and tear up my stuffy toys! I do bark when I see unfamiliar dogs on leash. Gotta make sure you see them too, ya know? I am a smart girl, I respond well to positive training methods and I would love to join a home that will help me feel safe and secure.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: I would do best in an adult-only home given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: I would be most comfy as the only dog in the home.CATS: Potentially, with a cat who has lived with and is confident around dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard preferred.
